Re: Biden 2024
It is the strong USD that is propping everything up right now and that is backed by everyone's faith and confidence in the US government. What do you think will happen when this goes out the window.

Re: Biden 2024
I was on a doorknock call with the US-China committee or whatever they called it via AmCham, they claimed it would stabilize trade by giving tariff authority to Congress, thought it was the dumbest stuff I had heard of but it would be better than giving Trump that power. The last time we had a full ...

Re: Biden 2024
Look where the USD is today and ask yourself if someone in the NY really deserves 3x the salary of someone comparable in London or HK. Why would you want to keep on hiring in the US? Look at Trump's business model of saddling his companies with debt before letting them go bankrupt. You really think ...

Re: Biden 2024
Enjoy a future in which gas is 20 dollars a gallon and where the economy is 25% smaller than it is today, where social order is kept by active military personnel on the streets beating up and shooting protesters, where you gave tens of thousands of academics in jail for being too woke. Actually, you...

Re: Biden 2024
You know what? We deserve the hell that Donald Trump will unleash upon the world.
Not saying that Biden isn't disappointing but there is a difference between lawful neutral incompetence and chaotic evil malfeasance.

Durant is a depreciating asset. 2 years on his contract.Democritus wrote: ↑Sat May 11, 2024 11:31 pmI think we have to give coach Bud a one year shot with this big three group. Sign O'Neale and trade your picks for a back up PG or strech five and see how it goes. I believe Bud will do a better job than Frank.

Re: 2024 Suns Offseason: Where do we go from here?
Yes, I actually think you could run Beal and Booker alongside LeBron but you need someone for when he sits. I'm really upset, TBH. That Durant trade was a colossal overpay and the Suns are screwed for a decade. The only hope was to win so much that you'd get FAs to come play below cost. But this ain...

Re: 2024 Suns Offseason: Where do we go from here?
I am going to say it: the Suns mortgaged their future for a Durant who is looking like a bust. But there isn't much you can do now, every resource has been spent. So, you might as well roll the dice with a LeBron experiment. Key will be a Tyronne Lue on the sidelines. I don't know that I'd call KD ...

What a dumb play by Booker Has a player ever lost favor so quickly? Something is seriously wrong with him. I had an intense packing day but DirecTV did me a favor as I close the door on a long history with them. The game didn't record for whatever reason. When I turned on the TV and discovered it w...

Re: Suns News: Week 24 (4/1 - 4/7)
I think a lot of men of a certain age grew up using certain slurs, like the "F" word for gay people, as casual insults. Some of us learned along the years that it isn't cool to call people that, and purged it from our vocabulary. But it took time to adjust. Other people went halfway, lear...

I think they are checked out with regular season stuff, only the postseason matters. They get up for the big games...sometimes.
It bodes well for the playoffs. But can they really turn on the jets that easily?

Either the Suns can flip on a switch when the playoffs begin or they're second round bantha fodder.

Hard to want to watch this crew. I didn't mind when we were watching a group of young guys struggling to get on their feet, and I loved it when they stood tall. And I would watch if today's team could play with urgency to reach greatness.
But...with this team...it is hard to find a connection.
