Re: Source for Suns' games if I cut the cable...

So I had gone with YouTube TV, but this is the second time they've dropped the Fox Sports channels and they also increased their monthly rates, so I've moved over to Hulu, which does carry Fox Sports and is $10 a month cheaper.

If you want to feel old, go look up how old Barbosa is now. Hope he does well at Golden State, though!
I started watching the Suns during Alvan Adams' rookie year when he was 21.

He's 66 now.

That does it for me.

Re: NBA Playoffs 2020

Houston getting killed on the boards again and tonight the Lakers are outshooting them from 3, so predictably they've got a huge lead after 3 quarters (95-69).

Re: NBA FA 2020 & Suns FA targets

I think the biggest need for next season is to get a couple of dependable bigs. You can't put yourself in the position where you're depending on Frank Kaminsky to play center in important games. Is Baynes healthy ad re-signable? Does he fit into what the Suns want to do? If not answer to these quest...

Re: Steve Nash to coach Nets

So, are you saying Kerr is the worst coach in the Western Conference? If we're calling him the greatest coach when they win the championship, I guess we are. Who called him the greatest coach? There are those who would point to his all-time record and say he's one of the best ever based on his team...

Re: NBA Playoffs 2020

Paul Silas was traded for Charlie Scott, which was a fairly even trade. Scott posted some big numbers for the Suns. Majerle was traded for Hot Rod Williams, who was a solid rebounder and post defender for Cleveland. He was involved in a car accident I believe shortly before or after the trade, and ...

How about Barkley himself? What if we had held on to him until retirement?
Chuck didn't want to be here and did all he could to get traded.

Re: NBA Playoffs 2020

"Who are your all-time "Suns shoulda kept him" guys?" Dennis Johnson is high on that list. Gail Goodrich. Although he never played for the Suns, Rajon Rondo was a draft pick that was traded (in a deal that eventually saw the Suns drafting Rudy Fernandez, who also then was traded. I'll acknowledge J...

Thew Bucks are on the verge of a massive fail.

Their backcourt just isn't championship-caliber.

Re: Steve Nash to coach Nets

I think he's a lot like Kerr. And as we know, you're only as good as the players you run out there. He'll have a pretty decent roster, so I think he should be okay. What really tells you the most about these coaches is what happen when things start to turn to shit like they did in Golden State for ...

Re: Coronavirus: When should we be concerned?

He's a "comedian" although I always thought that implied humor. The really "funny" thing is I can remember when this was all supposed to be a fraud and then they only predicted about 60,000 deaths, and then they pretty much shut up about it (or worse yet said it was under control as the death kept c...

You always wonder if the star players are going to have the patience to be successful - I think he will have that.

he should have credibility with the players. The temperament to deal with the bullshit? I'm not sure.

Re: NBA Playoffs 2020

As I've said before - it's become a shoot and fall down league.

Defenders aren't allowed to do much and offensive players are given every advantage.

And the game has lost something along the way.

Re: NBA Playoffs 2020

Yeah, I usually fall on the side of not using your platform "for good" is more dereliction than using it. Of course, how you define "good" is subjective. Also, on the 2nd bolded part: A lot of people lately don't seem to understand that freedom to say something does not mean freedom from consequenc...

Re: NBA Playoffs 2020

Seeing a lot of takes online that amount to, "They should shut up and dribble." It's sad. The right to peacefully protest isn't as respected as it used to be. It is never respected if it goes counter to your beliefs. It wasn't respected during the suffrage movement. It wasn't during the civil right...

Re: Suns News: Offseason

If the season is over we're going to see a lot of teams cut spending. The Suns will have a little flexibility in that they have Oubre available for a sign-and-trade deal (and only one year remaining on his contract may actually be a plus to some teams), so they may still have some options if they're...

Re: NBA Playoffs 2020

Part of it may be the frustration of not being home with their families and in their communities while this is taking place.

In the bubble they're isolated and can do nothing except talk. I think a lot of the players want to have more involvement than that.
