Chriss is saying Chriss things--saying that its good Oubre is out of Phoenix:

FYI, Marquese, McD is gone. Sarver is still here but seems to have been reined in a bit. These aren’t the Suns you knew.

Looks like a training camp body, 6-8 240 with a 7-4(!) wingspan out of Baylor in 2017. Played the last few years with Clips' GLeague team.

I love this move.
I love how excited you can get over the end of the bench.

Giant leap? Does that mean we’re finally going to see his legendary 44-inch vertical in a game?

So we have to bet on the Suns and just pick the dollar amount or can we pick the other teams? That would kind of suck betting against the Suns and then they win.
No, Suns games are excluded. No betting on the Suns, or against the Suns.

Re: Betting Game

Seems to me like we have a consensus. Preseason is practice, everybody starts over at $1000 on 12/22.

All games on the same day are treated as simultaneous. The total of your wagers may not exceed your stake at the start of the day.

B+ here.
Yeah, Paul is old and cranky, but he's only one of the best at his position.
I remember what Oscar Robertson did for the fledgling Milwaukee Bucks...
Are you casting Ayton as Alcindor?

Re: Betting Game

How do we want to handle situations like 12/15, where the first game may or may not finish before the second begins? Should we just treat all games on the same day as simultaneous?

I bet $1000 on Portland for game 1.
Rule for discussion: if you bet your whole stake and lose, are you done for the season, or do you get to start over?

Those are pre-season games, right?
Would it be better to start with the regular season?

Betting Game

We’re going to give this another try. But no betting on the Suns! Trying to be objective about them just ain’t fun. So we’ll bet on national TV games not involving the Suns. Eligible games Games eligible for betting are on national TV. NBA TV and LP don’t count. National TV means ABC, TNT, ESPN, sis...

Are Republicans really telling their constituents not to vote in the Georgia elections?

Awesome!
Sydney Powell and Lin Wood don’t actually have constituents, and don’t have a lot of influence. Then again, these elections are so competitive that even a little influence might make the difference.

9% of the league tested positive for COVID last week.

If it turns out Ayton is one of them and has to miss camp, I’m gonna be unhappy.

Re: 2020 Election Thread

I keep holding my breath and hoping that there won't be violence. I worry that somebody is going to get hurt or killed between now and Jan 21. A lot of people are going to get hurt and killed often the next couple months. Mostly by COVID. And yeah, maybe a few by Proud Boys shooting up a government...

Hoping that Romney and Murkowski decide to play ball with the centrists in the White House and get things done.
Even if Romney and Murkowski are willing to cooperate, McConnell can block pretty much anything simply by refusing to schedule a vote.
