Re: Israel / Palestine
I don’t think Israel sees it the same way you guys do. When the Germans bombed the UK, how much aid did they deliver to the UK? When we bombed Japan, how much aid did we send? How much aid has Putin sent to Ukraine? This is Israel’s own occupied territory. Being an occupying power comes with respon...

Ends don’t justify the means, Bone. You still have to respect the protection of free speech. Just like Skokie ’77.

Re: 2024 Suns General Offseason News
I can’t believe we are arguing about whether it would be good to pick up LeBron James at the minimum. Pretty sure both Jameses end up with the Lakers, but if there’s a chance for us to get him at min we absolutely must.

Re: Israel / Palestine
Why is anybody besides Israel being put in the position of having to deliver this aid at all? This is Israel’s responsibility, not just to let others deliver aid, but to deliver it themselves.

Re: DONALD TRUMP INDICTED
Not commenting on his guilt or innocence, but I’m curious what a conviction would mean? His supporters obviously won’t care and will still vote for him…does he serve time..can he still run? Does this do anything? Of course he can still run. His appeals won’t even be resolved before the election. Hi...

Re: 2024 Suns General Offseason News
https://x.com/saul_bookman/status/1795841544546828307?s=46 It’s feeling beyond conspiracy at this point. Suns are trying to roll out the red carpet for Bronny to get Lebron here. The question is how much the Lakers try to negotiate from their place of leverage when clearly Lebron can just buy a fra...

Re: 2024 Suns General Offseason News
Seriously, if LBJ comes over, I’d continue to start Beal, or possibly Allen. LBJ helps with our plethora of SGs, because when he’s on the court, you don’t really need a traditional PG. Whatever true PGs we have on the roster should play when LBJ is sitting.

Re: 2024 Suns General Offseason News
Dunno what I think about bringing LeBron over. I honestly don't think it will happen, so I'm not to concerned. But here's what I would consider as a fan. He always rebuilds teams he goes to. He has never won a title in his first season on a new team. Do we have the roster flexibility to make the tr...

Re: 2024 NBA Draft
Wally might be on the right track with a 2 yr plan for LBJ. As much money as LBJ has, I just can't him, or most anyone, else walking away from $50mil. But I also think LBJ has plans to retire in Cleveland. Think of it as spending $50 million. Actually probably more like $30 million after agent shar...

Re: 2024 NBA Draft
Ah, even more suspect now. And a kid who said "Only draft me if you think I'm worth it", will only work out for 2 teams and not all 30. I get that's how Rich Paul is handling all this, just sucks we're the ones attached to it. So it’s “Only draft me if you think I’m worth it based solely ...

Re: 2024 Playoffs: Around the League Round 3 (Conf Finals) News Thread
https://twitter.com/AlexGoldenNBA/status/1794807195533459721 I'm sure the NBA does this for every elimination game when a trophy will be presented to the series winning team. Duh. It just means the league recognizes the possibility of a Celtics win. It doesn’t mean they’re making a prediction.

Re: DONALD TRUMP INDICTED
If Donald Trump is convicted of a felony, people will pay attention. And it sure looks like there's a good chance he will be. Nobody’s going to be influenced by it. Trump supporters will see it as a sign of persecution and vote for him. Trump opponents will see it as validation of their choice to v...

Re: 2024 Suns Offseason: Where do we go from here?
That’s not true…towards the end I mentioned you’d have those picks available to attach to Nurk, Grayson, or Royce at the deadline to upgrade. Also who says they have to be OKC’s own picks? The reason I used them is they have tons of picks. You could get a Utah pick, a Houston pick, a LAC pick, a Mi...

Re: 2024 Suns Offseason: Where do we go from here?
I really don’t like the idea of trading any more unprotected firsts. Not even for multiple 1sts? The chances of that ’31 pick being near the top of draft is significantly greater than the odds of getting something good with one of those late picks from OKC. I get that…if you are done with the curre...

Remember when Vancouver traded for Thorpe with what turned out to be the #2 pick in 2003? They could have drafted Anthony, Bosh, or Wade. Instead they got 47 games of Otis Thorpe.

Re: 2024 NBA Draft
The more I think about this scenario the more I think we should steer well clear of it. Haven't we been humiliated enough over the past 3 seasons? Drafting a poorly rated rookie in the hope of bringing in his soon to be 40 year old father feels like we're setting ourselves up for more of the same. ...
