Re: The Buzzsaw That Is The Arizona Cardinals

We shouldn't underestimate St. Louis this year.

Their defense is going to be excellent, and I think they're only a healthy and competent season from Sam Bradford away from playoff contention.

Re: The Buzzsaw That Is The Arizona Cardinals

I think Seattle is still the class of the division, but SF, on the other hand, looks vulnerable to me.

The Cards have playoff potential based on their roster, but it call all go to South fast if Palmer has a long-term injury.

Re: Around the League: August 2014

So the Love trade is happening. Love for Wiggins, Bennett and a protected 1st. Love also "wink-wink" agreed to opt out and resign for 5 years after next season. Great trade for both teams, IMO. kevin love is overrated and will be exposed. Overrated is subjective. If he puts up another 20/...

Re: Around the League: August 2014

They are going to have ridiculous talent. Bennett, Wiggins, Zach LaVine, the other Shabazz, Gorgui Dieng, Glenn Robinson III. That's a terrific situation. Too bad it may be wasted by Flip Saunders. I would love it if Hornacek was dealt that hand. Oh well, at least we have Tyler Ennis. To me, the to...

Re: Around the League: August 2014

Bennett, Wiggins, Zach LaVine All drafted before the Suns picked. Shabazz Bust. Rather have Goodwin anyway. Gorgui Dieng You were not a fan of drafting him. I remember this distinctly because I was one of the few who thought he was a good prospect in our draft discussion. Glenn Robinson III Unknown...

Still. He would not have been injured if he hadn't played summer Olympic ball. Players and teams will remember that. If a NBA player declines an opportunity to play in the 2016 Olympics citing George's injury as the primary reason for his decision I'll eat my hat.

Re: Around the League: August 2014

Horrifying injury. I feel so sad for him and for Pacer fans. This will probably scare top players away from Olympic play in the future. I don't think so. One injury over the last 22 years of our best NBA players in International competition shouldn't scare anyone away. A severe injury like this cou...

Too bad for George. I was really looking forward to see him play for the USA squad and now I wonder who will fill his role as the do-it-all wing player. I have a feeling he was the guy Coach K would throw at the other teams best offensive player on defense.

The government of this nation is a clusterfuck. Anyone who desires to be a politician in this era should be barred from holding a government job.
