Re: 2023 Coaching Search

Kevin Young is not going to work out for the Suns. He's a place holder for someone better, but the thing is, the pool of better coaches becomes larger when the time comes for him to be replaced. Young will be a good place holder until Ishbia can transition to Isiah Thomas. Nah, Thomas will replace ...

Re: 2023 Coaching Search

Overreacting like firing the most successful coach in 15 years after saddling him with a roster of fringe NBA players and losing to the eventual NBA champions?

The coach wasn't the most severe problem with this team, and Kevin Young isn't going to turn Ayton or Paul into something they're not.

Re: TV Shows / Movies

Good show, but still leaves the kids a bit open ended. Thought Shiv's turn at the end was a little weird, even if she was right about Kendall. You give away the family company just to kind of spite your brother? She could've killed the deal, kept the company in the family, and then killed Kendall o...

Re: TV Shows / Movies

I nailed it.

Really good show, but I’m glad it’s finished. As much as I enjoyed the performances and writing, continuing this backstabbing chess game would’ve been a bad thing for the legacy of the show in the long run.

Re: 2023 Playoffs: Around the League Round 3 (WCF/ECF) News Thread

Best finish since the Valley Oop.

Duncan Robinson...SMH.

Miami had no business winning that game with the terrible paint shooting by Jimmy and Bam anyway.

Re: 2023 Coaching Search

Woj, Shams, Flex, and Dumbo can bloviate about info from their sources, but the biggest reason we haven't seen any hires yet is because many are expecting the Celtics job to be in the pool of openings very soon. Unless Ishbia is writing blank checks, the Suns job is less attractive than Milwaukee an...

You guys are hilarious. Wenbanyama is the best prospect since Luka.

Re: How Would You Rebuild the Suns?

I also think there's a pretty decent chance that Paul finishes out his contract with the Suns. I don't foresee the Suns getting anything of value in a trade, in fact, they'd probably have to give up something to get off of his money or take on a longer term bad-ish contract. Regardless, this roster...

Re: 2023 Playoffs: Around the League Round 3 (WCF/ECF) News Thread

It doesn't matter. Unless Murray or Jokic break a leg, the Nuggets are winning the title.

I was definitely upset when they knocked out the Suns, but com'on, this is a really good team. Jokic is the modern Duncan and there's no one left in the playoffs to match his talent.

Re: 2023 Coaching Search

I'd take a saguaro cactus on the bench before Doc Rivers.

Re: How Would You Rebuild the Suns?

I'm not sure. He seems washed, even for the vet minimum.

The roster needs a guy like him, though. I'd look at Grant Williams if the price isn't too high.

Re: 2023 Coaching Search

I'm sure Doc Rivers would love to coach the Suns so he could play 36 holes every other day.

Re: TV Shows / Movies

I follow… but that’s a big reason why I’m predicting Twin Cities Tom to get the nod. Despite somehow working his way into the graces of Matsson, everyone still treats Greg like the doofus that he is. Also, this show takes it self too seriously to crown the guy who vomited inside of a mascot costume ...

Re: 2023 Coaching Search

In that case, I hope it's Vogel. He's really the only available coach I've had above Monty. Why's that? He's won a title (bubble.. :?) and successfully managed a roster with superstars and the highest expectations. Much like KD being the first major Suns acquisition to have won a title (and Finals ...
