Re: Suns News: 2019 Off-Season

Over $15M/year for Oubre is questionable. Over $18M/year is dangerous. Over $20M/year is negligent.

They MUST let him go if another team offers $18M+/year.

Re: Suns News: 2019 Off-Season

I guarantee you the Spurs don't think they won that title because of R****t H***y's hip check.

I get it. We're on the same side here. But don't forget that you can get a good look at a t-bone by sticking your head up a bull's ass.

Re: Free Agent Targets

I don't think anyone is taking Jackson without getting back a future asset, possibly in addition to either Melton or Okobo.

Re: Free Agent Targets

An average of $15M/year is when I'd think long and hard about it. Total years and player/team options would probably make or break it for me. Oubre has really only played well for about 3-4 months of his entire career. Over paying for that is a bad idea. It's also not that difficult to find guys to ...

Re: NBA DRAFT 2019 THREAD

Yep. There's really no logic to defend it. Even if Cam is your guy, no excuse not to move back and pick up another asset. Who's to say that another team in the 15-30 range was willing to give up an asset to trade up to 11? Could've the FO had some indication that another team was targeting Cam John...

Re: Suns News: 2019 Off-Season

Saric played his best when Philly was mostly without Simmons and Embiid. I'm a little worried that he'll get out-alpha'd again by Booker, but hopefully the staff gives him the freedom and confidence to play his game. He's also playing for his second contract, so we should see the best of what he can...

One day this will be in the history books as a shameful event in American history. Kids will say, "How could such cruelty happen in my country?" I hope anybody reading this who voted for this man to lead our country is proud of what he has done.
I'd bet that most of them are.

US taxpayers fork over $750 a day per child at these centers. And since they're run by private organizations, we have no way of auditing them. Basically Trump is handing taxpayer money to his cronies, again. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-immigration-children/first-stop-for-migrant-kids-for-...

Re: NBA DRAFT 2019 THREAD

I can't find who said it, but someone yesterday compared Ty Jerome to Manu Ginobili. Obviously it wold be great to have just drafted a future hall of fame player, but I do see shades of Ginobili in Jerome with how he seemed to be savvier than his opponents in college.

Re: NBA DRAFT 2019 THREAD

I think some of the comments I've been reading here are a bit hypocritical. The TJ Warren trade was all about creating cap space. Not receiving a player asset looks bad but we have to see who they sign. I'm reserving judgment on that deal. #6 for Saric and #11 is a very good deal. I think we bought ...

Re: Warren, #32 pick to Pacers for cash

Just to be clear, Ty Jerome is not a point guard. I don't care what ESPN says.

I also don't expect him to be a point guard on the Suns. He's a poor mans Booker who I hope will occasionally get hot off the bench for 20+ points every couple of weeks.

Fun fact: in 10 postseason games in 2017-18, Saric averaged 17 ppg, 7.3 rpg, 3.5 apg, 1.5 topg.
I'm with you. I think getting Saric in that deal is being underrated by a lot of people.

I'd like to see Louis King if he doesn't get drafted.
I think he is a better prospect than Cameron Johnson.
