Re: Another Ayton Poll

JJ scared off Detroit. I think they wanted him. But it’s absolutely smarter for them to add vets to their youth.
Who’s offering the max at this point?

Re: Suns Off-Season Thread

Cool. Sounds like other teams wanna fleece us and JJ isn’t having it. Perhaps there’s some dog whistling around drafted players he thinks highly of come next week for trade partners—and otherwise he’s content keeping the band together.

That’s the most flex shit to say… just commenting on a comment he made that he got from another comment.

This actually makes a lot of sense for the Sixers' Green-Thybulle-#23 package.
Way too much tbh. But rockets can’t say no to that.

Re: Around the League News - 2022 Offseason Edition

He’s gone. Lol. I can’t imagine a team tolerating this sort of looney tunes shit. Kyrie reminds me of a Kenny Powers type sans redneck tropes; Just a player resting on his past accomplishments, with a thin ego, who gets off on being a star by undermining and subverting conventions around him. Sure i...

Re: Suns Off-Season Thread

If Ayton refuses a sign and trade to sign an offer sheet, Suns better match and play his ass for the year. He his trade value will keep a year from now when he will have 3 years left on a max.

Re: Suns Off-Season Thread

Hard not to get excited over KD and Kyrie reports: Kyrie eyeballing Lakers, KD not recruiting for Nets, Patty Mills hasn’t opted into next year for them. All this coming ahead of draft…good for viewership, but also cueing GMs and priming them to make decisions. If you’re the Nets, do you re-assure K...

Re: Suns Off-Season Thread

Honestly feels like we’re just going to do a straight forward deal with Det, ATL or Indy. Ayton for Grant and a future protected 1st for Capela and a future protected 1st for Turner and a future protected 1st I have serious low expectations any for Ayton S&T right now. At least this whole thing...

Re: Suns Off-Season Thread

Knicks strike me as a team to always swing and miss on Win Now models. It all comes down to your decisions whether signing and trading or building through the draft. I’d love to see Monty use more Coach Pop’s player development model. His teams always seemed to be resilient to injuries and maintaini...

Re: Suns Off-Season Thread

I think I am on board with the Dangelo, he seems very gettable and possibly cheap. T’Wolves seem like they’re just gonna dump him for expiring and perhaps something fairly light. I think 1. He will be good for locker room (he’s had time to mature and been humbled by now, still friends with Book) 2. ...

CamJ, Dario, Payne and future 2nd for Gordon, Kenyon Martin Jr., 17th pick and 26th pick?
I’d pull it. I love Cam J but would take both picks and trade up. There might be a better deal using Cam J though.

Re: 2022 NBA Draft Thread

I think Indy mentioned something along the lines of this earlier, but if Ivey is still available at #4, it sort of makes a lot of sense for both teams to do something along the lines of Sabonis + #4 for Ayton, right? Or, the Kings being the Kings, maybe they keep the #4 and give Sabonis and Mitchel...

Re: Suns Off-Season Thread

I hope they do re-sign Ayton. I Call BS on this. But if they do, they desperately need Cam Johnson. If suns can’t knock down their outside shots, Ayton will be toast too in the paint.

He’s literally the only starter who scores like 5 points, 2-5 fgs, 4 rebounds, 1 steal. And is thought to have had a good game.

Re: Suns Off-Season Thread

I think it’s fair to assume that’s the case. Plenty of Women have long been qualified and best person for the job. Doesn’t mean we have to ignore the timing of it. I’d rather have someone like her be a majority owner than Sarver. I just hope that Sarver doesn’t do what narcissists often do and go o...

Re: 2022 NBA Draft Thread

After watching too many scouting videos I think this is probably a 4-star draft. In order of who I'd pick.. 1. Paolo Banchero - This is the simplest way I could break it down. If VC, T-Mac, and Kobe were imitations of Jordan, Banchero can be that of LeBron. His size, vision, and shot making are NBA...

Re: 2022 NBA Draft Thread

I think Payne has some value because of his contract. He at least is good for a back up PG during regular season. Maybe late first round? Shamet? Idk. I guess I dislike him so much I don’t think I can even objectively evaluate his worth. It drives me nuts how some players move and shoot like they’r...
