The way I understood it, it never was not a motivation problem. Ayton was motivated but had a rough game. Monty was consoling him because he wanted to do better, but didn't succeed to.

Brogdon has a horrible reputation here in Indy for being soft and fans have had it with him because of it. He's fallen off big time since being on the Pacers.
