Maybe the team expects to be white hot on offense all the time.

Re: 2023 Suns General Offseason/PostSeason News Thread
Just watched a scouting report on him. Interesting… he’s not super useful in the modern game but I guess he does fill a hole, a large body with length and intimidation. But he can’t defend in space at all so probably just a regular season banger who makes Ayton work in practice.

Re: 2023 Suns General Offseason/PostSeason News Thread
Gordon is somewhere between 6’8 and 6’10 depending on who’s reporting, but he does have incredible hops that KBD lacks. I still like KBD going up against Gordon on defense among our different options tho. Sure better than anything we had last year outside of KD.

Re: 2023 Suns General Offseason/PostSeason News Thread
I do wonder if KBD can match up with some of the bigger 4s tho. What are the big 4s out there in the league? Other than Utah and Minnesota going big, the other teams don’t feature massive bodies there anymore, no? Maybe if the Lakers run AD at the four again. Am I missing anybody?

Re: 2023 Suns General Offseason/PostSeason News Thread
But he’s a better player and I still don’t see why the Pacers would want Payne over him. In the reported trade talks, Payne wasn't going to Indiana. You are right. The reported deal was to New York who would send Fournier to Indiana. And McConnell is better than Fournier too, so pick compensation w...

Re: 2023 Suns General Offseason/PostSeason News Thread
Can we really say with any sort of certainty that we didn’t prioritize players with bird rights? I mean, the assumption is that we could’ve traded Payne to the Spurs earlier and gotten the same deal. But do we know that for sure? That we didn’t try to move him for other players and/or the Spurs want...

I would also say CP3 was clearly hampered during that finals series. Not an excuse per se. But having the right timing on injuries is important.
