Re: At this point, where is your level of care/concern for our team? In the present, as well as moving towards the futur
I think a lot of takes this season have been overly reactionary and pessimistic (and I admit I learn toward the cup being half full). Thus far this team has not performed to expectations for sure. But, I don't believe it can't change. This team was made for the playoffs where the Big <=3 will be on ...

Suns get to finals against Boston, win game 5 in triple OT only to lose game 7 in a laugher.

Re: Suns get their PG? IT returns
I mean why not? Saben Lee has been awful and should never see an NBA court ever again.
IT is eligible for playoffs if he wasn't on an NBA roster after March 1st, which I believe is the case.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that point. Our Big <=============3 will play more minutes, further reducing the impact of depth.

Re: Game Day: Suns (35-26) @ Nuggets (42-19), Tues 3/5/24
People keep talking about the Suns lack of depth as a major factor limiting their ceiling, but doesn't that become a non-issue in the playoffs when the bench shortens? The team is really solid 1-8. I like their chances. This of course assumes a healthy Big <=============3 (Big <=3 plus Nurkic), but ...

Re: Around the NBA: Week 19 (2/26 - 3/3)
I don't subscribe to the fixed games controversies. That's giving the refs too much credit. They are just flat out incompetent. I get that refs let a lot go uncalled in the last few seconds, but the Detroit player (don't know who) clearly had control and was clearly tackled. Refs can't let that go. ...

Geesh... you all have PTSD or something. Mavs are a good team, so I wouldn't take them lightly. However, the Suns are good too. Gafford and Washington are good pickups but come on. Unless it turns out Beal can't go, this will be the first game where both teams are relatively healthy. I expect a good...

I was not one of the 11.6 Million. I can't stand watching the All-Star Game. It's horrible. I'm not sure what to do about it. They won't get rid of it while it makes money (I guess it does), and I don't like any of the of ideas for fixing it that I've seen. I'll just happily keep ignoring it.

Interesting https://twitter.com/asoukuptx/status/1757825616726917150?s=20 I was going to respond to caps post in another thread where he points out that the Suns play departs from the modern NBA, but Split's post here kinda supports the point I want to make. I don't believe there is any one way to ...

Touche. I did read that earlier, but at the time only registered the case where the feet are shuffled. And it doesn't counter my argument that someone could propel forward by a full stride.
I'm not going to concede my point though that this move shouldn't be allowed.

Re: Around the NBA: Week 16 (2/5/24 - 2/11/24)
I looked them up. I didn't see where it restricts it. This is the only other relevant sections that I could find: https://official.nba.com/rule-no-10-violations-and-penalties/ Section XIII—Traveling d. If a player, with the ball in his possession, raises his pivot foot off the floor, he must pass or...

Re: Around the NBA: Week 16 (2/5/24 - 2/11/24)
I'll concede the rules are written to allow it. I still say it is wrong. By that definition, a player, from a standstill could jump off two feet, land on his non-pivot foot, jump again off that foot, and continue to hop indefinitely on his non-pivot foot across the entire court as long as his pivot ...

Re: Around the NBA: Week 16 (2/5/24 - 2/11/24)
You actually can lift your pivot foot to pass or shoot…can’t lift it to dribble, but not a travel in this situation. Don't care. It's a travel. I've heard you (or maybe it was someone else) say that before, and I would have to read the rules to verify the wording actually says that. Of course, you ...
