Who's he motivating? If the players require this to motivate them, then they've already lost!

Okay. I'll just say that due to the dispersion of the dataset, there is significant error present in the calculation of the blue line. In any case, we should be plotting points scored vs minutes spent with his girlfriend, or something like that, if you want to correlate Book's love life with his gam...

If anyone wants a regression of GmSc vs time, here it is: https://i.postimg.cc/G4mwHksh/880-C6-E4-F-BA85-4922-A16-F-336154-EDA0-F7.png The correlation isn’t super strong, but it’s a negative downward trend over time. Meets the eye test. Uh... Those data are so scattered, there is no way to draw any...

Re: Suns Extend Grayson Allen
Nas showed very Little when he played, particularly after he was hurt. The Suns were right to keep him on the bench. The emergence of Bol, the acquisition of O'neale, and the need to solidify the rotation squeezed him out. I feel he could still develop into a useful piece. Maybe with an off season t...

Re: Season In Review: Rating
C I was considering a B-, but ultimately, I was disappointed with the team's effort on many nights. I'm not going to blame the coaches for the team's record like many others have done. Too many of the issues seem related to team execution (though I'm not a fan of the clogged toilet offense). Careles...

Re: Suns Extend Grayson Allen
It depends on how he is used. He mentioned earlier in the season that he was never expected to drive like he does for the Suns. He was just asked to stand beyond the 3-point line and shoot 3s. I think that's one of the reasons he wanted to come back; he was given more freedom and opportunity to grow...

Re: 2024 Playoffs: Around the League Round 1 News Thread
I was hoping he would at least last long enough to make the 8 seed and give OKC some trouble.

Re: The Suns Main Issues and How to Fix
I'll restate. I like McConnel as the backup PG. But the Suns can't get him for free (probably have to give up Grayson...Not a good trade), and it doesn't resolve the main issue that people are complaining about: a starting quality PG that can run the offense and steady the ship.

Re: The Suns Main Issues and How to Fix
I still don't think the lack of point guard is the problem. Suns could not and cannot get a star point guard...period. Not gonna happen. You all seem to want a young Chris Paul. He doesn't exist. A middling PG isn't going to help. I keep asking those of you who keep lamenting the lack of point guar...

Re: The Suns Main Issues and How to Fix
This thread, imo, is too soon and too reactionary. Again, this team was built for the playoffs. We should wait until that is over (and maybe even another month to let the emotions subside). Nevertheless, I will say this: I think wholesale changes are a mistake. The team (with minor tweaks) should st...

This is the guy all you want? The guy shooting 15.2% from 3 and an eFG% of 37.0%?

Re: Suns News: Week 25 (4/8 - 4/14)
Saben Lee has been awful and should not see an NBA basketball court now or in the playoffs. I'd much rather have IT, who I feel at least tries to run an offense and doesn't go full Josh Jackson barreling to the hoop, head down, into 3 defenders.

Re: Game Day: Suns (43-31) @ Pelicans (45-29), Mon 4/1/24
This is ridiculous. Book's points came in the flow of the offense. He didn't really force anything. KD LOVES it when Book goes off. It goes the other way around too. Book defers to KD when KD is hot. Book was only hot for the first half. In the second half, he was much less of a focal point, probabl...

Every team the Suns face for the last 8 games of the regular season are 10 games or greater above .500. That is a pretty staggering fact. This stretch will pretty much make or break our season. You probably know where my money is, but I'd love to be wrong and see them rise to the occasion. Their re...

If Nurk is ready to play, he should play. It's too late in the season to be experimenting. The team needs wins badly.
My biggest concern for Nurk is Ramadan, which doesn't end for another 10 days. His play has generally fallen during Ramadan.
