Re: Suns News: 2019 Off-Season

I don’t know where the eggplant one came from. The one I posted(not sure why it won’t load) was a bomb. Screen shot from a couple different suns bloggers.

Re: Free Agent Targets

Listening to Zach Lowe podcast, he’s got Brian Windhorst on. He thinks Beverley is our target. And maybe we show up Sunday at 6 with all our cap space. The showing up on Sunday at 6 was a hypothetical scenario to question what Beverley would do. Would he wait to see what the clippers do? Or just ta...

Re: Free Agent Targets

That’s true if Kyrie/KD sign right away. If they take their time, Brooklyn will hold onto the rights. We’d need to move fast as I think putting pressure on them before Kyrie/KD decide is the best option. They won’t match a Russell offer when they still don’t know Kyrie/KD plans. To do that we need ...

Re: Suns News: 2019 Off-Season

Ya, we are set up pretty nicely to strike out big in 2020 or 2021 free agency. A big reason why I don’t think we need to do anything drastic this free agency. Just sign a competent pg to a 2 year deal and go from there. Fixed that for you. Nobody’s coming to Phx in FA unless we turn this clown show...

Re: Free Agent Targets

Woj & Lowe have a FA show on ESPN 2. Just set up a recording for later tonight. Don't waste your time. I was foolish enough to watch it and they didn't mention the Suns a single f*** time. What a joke. They’ve got a national audience. No one is watching that broadcast to hear who the suns prefer be...

Re: Free Agent Targets

1. We gotta check on Brogdon and D-Lo. If they want to sign, I think you have to waive and stretch Tyler and make an offer. Both are restricted, D-Lo seems attainable as Nets have Kyrie/KD dreams. Brogdon seems unlikely to be let go by Milwaukee. Either scenario is dangerous as we may end up waivin...

I think he’s saying Russell is better at everything other than shooting
Ah, but he is saying that he's only good at spot up shooting?
That I don’t know, Mori will have to answer

Re: Suns News: 2019 Off-Season

But on this team I think Russell is a much better fit. We need a guy to handle the ball and run the offense so that we don't have to watch Point Booker all game any more. We need a guy who will go get his own shot, drive to the basket, pull up, and who can also take a pass and hit an open shot. Rus...

Re: Free Agent Targets

I’d rather have Oubre. He’s younger and bigger. Lamb had a nice year, but I think Oubre is better, culture wise he was good for us and he wants to be here. I would easily pay him 1.7 million a year more than lamb.

Re: Around the League: The Off-season

Talk in another thread got me thinking. Who do we see as being the big winners this off season and what does that mean for us in terms of chances to move up the west ladder? My power rankings based on how I think free agency will go: Tier 1 - Contenders 1. Clipper - I think they get Kawhi and become...

They probably have agreed to a number already, I'm guessing.
I wouldn’t be surprised and I’d guess it’s a little higher than his true value to keep him from exploring other options. I see his value 12-14 and that means we’re probably paying 14-16

Re: Free Agent Targets

The lowest I think we get him is at 12 per year. I’m expecting 14 or 15. I think if he gets 18 per year I let him go.

Re: Suns News: 2019 Off-Season

In some sense I like Brogdon as a player better than Russell. He's smarter with the ball, he doesn't take as many bad shots, he doesn't try to play beyond himself as much. He's a better defender. He's a better complementary player and role player in a system where others will handle the ball more a...
