Minny makes the most sense to move to the East, just in terms of travel. If you look at the map, MIN is super close to MIL, CHI, DET and nowhere near any other West teams except maybe OKC, but even that's pretty far.

At first I got a little excited: John Stockton has a son? Is he a great passer? Could we maybe mold him into a diamond in the rough? ... Then I google him ... Oh, he's literally 35 ... and couldn't stay on an NBA roster 10 years ago ... oh. Meh.

The new deal doesn’t bother me so much, but I agree on the cost to acquire him. You don’t send 2 1sts for someone who starts half a season.
