Re: Suns News: 2019 Off-Season

The nice thing about having drafted Cam Johnson is that if we really need to let Oubre walk, we can play a Bridges/Johnson SF rotation if we have to. A bit light on experience, but then, so is our whole team. Bridges is going to be a stud and he can start if we need him to start at SF. Just say "no"...

Re: Suns News: 2019 Off-Season

Does having Cam on the roster make it easier to let Oubre walk? I know I'd be willing to let him go, but I don't think Sarver thinks that way. I am betting Jones doesn't think that way. Oubre is someone he actually brought in on his watch, and was a fan favorite, and seems to be one of the only guy...

Re: Free Agent Targets

Listening to Zach Lowe podcast, he’s got Brian Windhorst on. He thinks Beverley is our target. And maybe we show up Sunday at 6 with all our cap space. The showing up on Sunday at 6 was a hypothetical scenario to question what Beverley would do. Would he wait to see what the clippers do? Or just ta...

Re: Free Agent Targets

I'm going to ask again something it appears no one has the huevos to answer. With Ayton, Booker, D'Lo...one would expect we have the making of a big 3. D'Lo is obvious, Booker also...and I think our unstated general expectation is that Ayton with a real, distributing PG thrives. That would be our t...

Re: Around the League: The Off-season

Would you guys be interested in bringing back PJ Tucker in the a 3 team trade even if it helped out Houston? I liked PJ Tucker and in a vacuum would welcome a player like him on our roster. But I don't think we should go after him this offseason. Just last year we signed a free agent veteran SF des...

Re: Suns News: 2019 Off-Season

In some sense I like Brogdon as a player better than Russell. He's smarter with the ball, he doesn't take as many bad shots, he doesn't try to play beyond himself as much. He's a better defender. He's a better complementary player and role player in a system where others will handle the ball more an...

Last night the league announced its season awards. MVP: Giannis RotY: Luka Doncic 6th Man: Lou Williams DPoY: Rudy Gobert Most Improved: Pascal Siakam CotY: Mike Budenholzer https://www.nba.com/nbaawards/2019/finalists So, let me get this straight. We could have drafted the Rookie of the Year, and w...

Re: NBA DRAFT 2019 THREAD

Defending drafting Cam at #11 is like defending buying a hot dog for lunch for $20. We get it, you had a craving for a hot dog; that was what you really wanted for lunch. But you should have found a way to get it for less than $20, or at least should have gotten a really nice combo meal for your $2...

Re: Free Agent Targets

Here’s what I think we should do: 1. We gotta check on Brogdon and D-Lo. If they want to sign, I think you have to waive and stretch Tyler and make an offer. Both are restricted, D-Lo seems attainable as Nets have Kyrie/KD dreams. Brogdon seems unlikely to be let go by Milwaukee. Either scenario is...

Have we ever done the poll of top-10 most hated Suns of all time? Where would said Aussie center rank on that list? Who would be #1?

Re: Grade the Suns' 2019 draft day

Hope you're right. Here's what I'm asking though, and ShelC's not quite understanding. They loved him in Philadelphia (a playoff team). He was bad in Minny. We're assembling a roster full of guys who can be contributors (but not stars) on playoff teams. We also can see that Saric did badly when mov...

Here's a Saric sizzle reel from Philly. I really hope we get this version of Saric on our team. I like this guy.

Re: Grade the Suns' 2019 draft day

In general you don't have to package picks to get rid of actual productive players like Warren. You have to include a pick when they are dead weight, salary ballast, when they just eat up cap space. Indefensible that we had to throw in our pick to get him out.

We don't need another marginal PG eating up our cap space. We have too many mediocre or bad players as it is.

One day this will be in the history books as a shameful event in American history. Kids will say, "How could such cruelty happen in my country?" I hope anybody reading this who voted for this man to lead our country is proud of what he has done.

I get L___e B____s vibes from some of the things he says.
I was just thinking that the other day. Jones and Beyers remind me a lot of the old "Blabby" (B____s/Babby) combo from the bad old days. That combo got us the H**o/C*******s/Warrick nightmare offseason.
