Re: Trump 2024
I, for one, don't think there is much meat on this particular bone. IMO Trump probably got hit by a bullet *fragment* or *shrapnel* rather than a whole bullet, which likely would have torn his ear apart and disfigured him. But that's a distinction without a difference. He was shot at by a would-be a...

Re: 2024 Election
Yeah I think her winning message is about a positive/negative contrast. Trump is always ragey and mean; I am nice. Trump hates and discriminates against women, minorities, so many Americans; I want to bring us together. Trump wants to take us backward; I want to take us forward. We won't go back. Th...

Re: Trump 2024
So presumably In2, who is all in on so many conspiracy theories, will be all over this one as well? Strangely I haven't heard him say anything about it yet. Perhaps he is doing his own research.

Re: The GOP / RNC
Laura Loomer is an embarrassment. She's had multiple totally over the line statements just this past week. I would hope that even most MAGAs would want to disassociate from her.

More polls. Kamala has some real upward momentum in these crucial states.

Re: 2024 Election
A new poll yesterday from Michigan. These are the polls I care more about than nationwide polls. If Kamala is going to stop Trump she needs to take the lead in more of these swing states. Great to see her pull ahead here when Trump was up by 7-8 points in most of the last few MI polls. https://twitt...

Re: Harris 2024
Another GOP rep calls Harris a "DEI" hire. They just love being racist and sexist; they can't help it. It's who they are, and it's how they see people.

Re: Harris 2024
I saw a tweet that was like, Vance is the worst possible age to suddenly become a national politician because he's been Very Online for most of his adult life, so there is just a huge deep well of problematic or cringey tweets, posts, videos, blogs, etc. that he's written over so many years that now...

Re: 2024 NBA General Offseason News
Streaming is the future and all that, but, if various NBA games are available only on Amazon Prime video, a ton of people aren't going to be able to watch them (or know how to watch them).

More like (Kamala + Vance). BTW if you're immature and want to laugh at a compilation of the funnier tweets about the Vance "couch" saga, here's a fun thread:

Re: 2024 Election
The amount of blue dot rage farmers you post never ceases to amaze me. Nobody actually reads them though, right? Only the folks who need to feel like they have a place in the world. Selective outrage gives them a sense of purpose. People that want to be part of something that is bigger than they ar...

Re: The Democrats
Trump is like a video game player who celebrates because he beats the final boss, and he tosses the controller into the air and dances around. Then he looks at the screen in horror and realizes that that was just the first phase of the final boss; the second true form has just appeared. But oops, he...

Re: 2024 Election
It is a little weird, I'll admit. My guess is that Obama didn't want to immediately endorse Kamala because he wanted it to be perceived as the Dem voters anointing Kamala, not "elites" like himself or other powerful people trying to "force" Kamala to be the choice. But he didn't ...

Re: Harris 2024
In what way is Kamala Harris a "placeholder"? I don't even get what that means. What it means is that she ultimately isn't going to be the candidate on the ballot. What did you think it meant? Okay, how about double-or-nothing on our previous bet, then? If Kamala is ultimately the Dem can...

Samantha Bee excellently captures how the GOP and its media are failing to find any insult or taunt that actually works on Kamala Harris: https://www.thedailybeast.com/samantha-bee-republicans-attacks-on-kamala-harris-are-delightful-flops One of the more unexpected joys of the past week has been the...

Re: 2020 Election Thread
I don't remember In2 saying anything about going to a Trump rally. But also I think there's nothing wrong with going to a rally if you support a given candidate and they come to your town. Trump rallies have their own special brand of energy to them, and I would never go to one, but to each their own.
