Re: Partisan Politics Good For America?

I stumbled upon this story. How Corporate America Invented Christian America Inside one reverend’s big business-backed 1940s crusade to make the country conservative again. http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2015/04/corporate-america-invented-religious-right-conservative-roosevelt-princeton-1170...

Re: Partisan Politics Good For America?

Mike Rowe is a hard worker and pretty cool, but President? Did you know he used to be an opera singer? You look at the guy and watch his show and then think, opera singer? Who would have thunk? People are living longer and financially that is a bad thing for Social Security. I do like how they are p...

Ouch. Yeah, people are supposed to have their stuff together, but appearently the cops don't. A beef I have. Cops enforce driving laws, but never seem to obey them themselves. Ever see a cop use a turn signal? As a musician it's always a good idea to stay away from politics. http://www.cnn.com/2015/...

Most disappointing season in quite awhile. We didn't improve, we got worse. The only guy I really care about keeping is Len, so he will be the first traded in the offseason.

Re: Obligatory Walking Dead Thread

The only people reading this thread are Walking Dead fans. If they are fans then they watch every episode the day it comes out. I think spoiler posts are not necessary. If somebody missed an episode and haven't caught up they should avoid this thread. That's my take at least. Between seasons now, so...

Re: Edited: easier to buy guns than vegetables?

I come from the center I think. I see both sides. When it comes down to it I care more about saving lives than any hobby. There are places you can go and shoot guns without owning them I believe. If I were to come up with a happy medium I would go that route. Go to a range, rent the 50cal. for a wh...

Re: Partisan Politics Good For America?

The Cotton letter was written to inform Iran how our laws worked, that if they reached an agreement without Senate ratification it was not likely to be worth much. Thats a nice way of putting it. It was merely a public service announcement and that was it's only intent. Now, that's just not true. W...

Re: Edited: easier to buy guns than vegetables?

Mori is right though. Guns are a hobby to most of those people. I don't own a gun, but I did have fun shooting them at targets. Lots of guys like shooting and blowing up things. Ask a typical guy what kind of movie he wants to see and it better have lots of action, T&A and blowing up things. I c...

Re: Partisan Politics Good For America?

I think if you are a Democrat, then Biden kicked his ass. I think if you are a Republican, you probably think Ryan kicked Biden's ass. I think if you are the normal public on that night you were probably watching reruns of Murphy Brown and didn't care what a couple of wind bag politicians had to say...

My dad was in the Korean War and used to restore Willy's Jeeps to look like they did in the war. He collected all kinds of things before he passed away. He had a collection of around 50 old tractors. Some of them really old and real obscure.

They didn't try to impeach him, but as the article states most Republicans are in favor of it. Their reasons? Benghazi and not securing the border. There have been I think 8 seperate investigations into Benghazi with zero evidence of any wrongdoing or coverup found. Not securing the border? Nobody h...
