Re: Edited: easier to buy guns than vegetables?
I come from the center I think. I see both sides. When it comes down to it I care more about saving lives than any hobby. There are places you can go and shoot guns without owning them I believe. If I were to come up with a happy medium I would go that route. Go to a range, rent the 50cal. for a wh...

Re: Partisan Politics Good For America?
The Cotton letter was written to inform Iran how our laws worked, that if they reached an agreement without Senate ratification it was not likely to be worth much. Thats a nice way of putting it. It was merely a public service announcement and that was it's only intent. Now, that's just not true. W...

Re: Edited: easier to buy guns than vegetables?
Mori is right though. Guns are a hobby to most of those people. I don't own a gun, but I did have fun shooting them at targets. Lots of guys like shooting and blowing up things. Ask a typical guy what kind of movie he wants to see and it better have lots of action, T&A and blowing up things. I c...

Re: Partisan Politics Good For America?
I think if you are a Democrat, then Biden kicked his ass. I think if you are a Republican, you probably think Ryan kicked Biden's ass. I think if you are the normal public on that night you were probably watching reruns of Murphy Brown and didn't care what a couple of wind bag politicians had to say...

Re: Edited: easier to buy guns than vegetables?
My dad was in the Korean War and used to restore Willy's Jeeps to look like they did in the war. He collected all kinds of things before he passed away. He had a collection of around 50 old tractors. Some of them really old and real obscure.

Re: Partisan Politics Good For America?
They didn't try to impeach him, but as the article states most Republicans are in favor of it. Their reasons? Benghazi and not securing the border. There have been I think 8 seperate investigations into Benghazi with zero evidence of any wrongdoing or coverup found. Not securing the border? Nobody h...

FOX News perspective on Solyndra was expected. Obama was for something therefore they had to be against it. No more explanation is needed.

I would love to shoot that thing. That would be fun. Doing it in video games just isn't the same.

Another one http://www.nbclosangeles.com/news/local/Man-on-Stolen-Horse-Stunned-by-Sheriffs-Deputies-in-IE-299250951.html# In the two minutes after the man was stunned with a Taser, it appeared deputies kicked him 17 times, punched him 37 times and struck him with batons four times. Thirteen blows a...
Re: Ferguson
And now we have another Ferguson in S.C., but worse. This time a cop shooting an unarmed guy in the back several times as he runs away and it's all on video. Then somebody else films the guy planting a taser on the guy after the fact. Ouch.

Ants and grasshoppers. I get it now. Planning for the future. I just assumed you were making a snide remark about me that I didn't get and responded in kind. Now I feel a little bad except for you calling me a douchbag, but I guess I deserved it. For the record I regard water and sewer utilities as ...

If I only knew what that meant.
Maybe the citizens there didn't want to pay higher taxes to keep the plant open. Or maybe they didn't want a bigger inefficient government sticking their nose in where they don't belong. Let the private sector handle all those things.

I read about that plant. They were experiencing another drought and we're getting desperate and built the plant. Then they got 30 inches of rain and the drought was over. They mothballed the plant until now.

Re: Partisan Politics Good For America?
Now we are getting somewhere. I'm like you Indy and don't belong to any party although Dan might argue that I am a Democrat. I voted for Obama twice. My allegiance is to America, not a party. I voted for Obama mainly because he wasn't a Republican and I have become angry at the party for their actio...
