Re: From the comic to the screen.

I'll go first. Last week I watched X-Men first Class for the first time. This has been the first time I've paid attention to superhero movies in a long time and I have to say that It's good. Fassbender makes a very interesting young Magneto. Xavier is not bad either, but not as good. There is also ...

Re: Comics

It was muddled continuity, to be sure, but the long history was explained via alternate universes, like Earth 2; Even post crisis, the previous history was basically remembered and acknowledged, even if it was no longer physically accessible. There were all types of complicated yet entertaining reas...

Re: What TV shows are you guys watching?

I have The Fugitive, an 80 gig torrent of Alfred Hitchcock, and all the classic Twilight Zones. Of course, I'm somewhat of an archivist (7 terabytes of television so far archived.) There is definitely something to be said for old school production values, pacing, deeper scripts, and actors that can...

Love it. 8-)
Though O & 45 trumps it.
Suns are irrelevent to this equation. The Lakers banners, though, does trump it. But in the present? Terrible showing. ;)

Re: Steve Nash - The Finish Line

Yes, that is how I feel. It was a random injury, a fluke; That bone, that nerve, would have assumedly *never been injured* in Phoenix; Maybe another injury, but that can't be known. What is known is that *this* particular one would have been avoided. His career would have continued at the slowly do...

I think 3 may be unfair, and is just an exaggerated troll job from Spurstalk. I will give the man the benefit of the doubt; He has always been a class act. The rest, given our history, is funny as shit. Hilarious.

Really disappointing. It was great seeing him back. Theres very little chance they resign him next year, though. I feel bad for LB. Seeing him out there with Dragic and Frye was great.

Re: Steve Nash - The Finish Line

Still think staying here would have led to a very different path for Nash. No fluke injury, while remaining with our training staff.... who knows? Butterfly effect and all... The worst thing to me, has always been how badly Blanks and the FO handled the whole thing in general, even if it was the rig...

Re: Culburn

He wouldn't be doing this 10 years later just to antagonize us, considering he has had no interaction with us in that amount of time, and he was for awhile assumed dead. He honestly considers it a fan based allegiance to the team ... he just hopes for the opposite outcome. I won't pretend to underst...

Re: What TV shows are you guys watching?

Yeah, the first few episodes of S2 bored me to tears, and I stopped watching. The 6 episode original mini series was great. Too many episodes slows down the plot. Heh, i'm so early in the show, that I'm still not sure what the secret the scientist guy whispered at the end of the first season was. :D...

I'm just saying, most girlfriends I know wouldn't be searching obscure brand new internet forums to ask this question... why us, why here, why now? If it was someone who uses the site or frequents message boards, then maybe, but it s not. There are plenty of better options to get the information re...

Re: Suns News: Week of 3/2-3/9

I think it's more of a matter of Ish just playing better. He's been really effective the last few weeks. And don't look now, but Gerald Green is averaging 20 ppg over his last 5 games. Gerald has been looking good which brings up the question, what do we do with him once Bledsoe comes back? I think...

Re: Comics

I used to be huge into comics, but I fell out of touch in the mid 2000s. I was a 90s comic kid (grew up in the 80s) and was *really* into Batman with the Knightfall line, and spread out into GL, Flash and a couple others. I was one of the actual fans of Hal Jordan going all Anakin Skywalker on the ...
