Re: Around the League: Week 22 3/21-3/27
If we tie with Brooklyn, how is it determined who would be #3? Coin flip. Aren't the chances just split down the middle, where both get the same number of ping pong balls? Coin flips I thought only happened when you were tied outside the lottery or both outside the top three when you are tied, but ...

I feel like we hear this from specialsauce every year when it comes to Euro bigs. Bender actually might end up being the best player in this draft. He's 7'1" and shoots better than Porzingis, runs the floor, passes almost as well as Simmons, rebounds and has a great motor. Bender isn't a knee ...

Now Knight comes back and in crunch time dominates the ball. No more team ball. We won but, I hated the Knight black hole Suns team compared to the team ball they were playing before he came back. Yep, no doubt the team is much more pleasurable to watch when not run by the Black Hole Knight. "...

Re: NCAA Tournament
Euro teams and they way they play players doesn't make a lot of sense many times. I knew a guy that played in Europe, all the players knew he was the best player on the team, they were a much better team when he was on the court. Yet, the coach didn't want to play him, and he had to take them to cou...

I've been watching Rico Gathers since his freshmen year, waiting and hoping the Cardinals pick him up. Btw, I heard Bertrand Berry the other day criticizing Nate Robinson for saying he wanted to try the NFL. He said it would be easier for an NFL player to make the NBA than the other way around. I li...

I could see a three team trade this summer with Cleveland, Minnesota and Phx. Swapping Bledsoe, Rubio, and Irving with some assets involved from the teams.

Just wait another year, and a guard out of Chino Hills is going to UCLA, by the name Lonzo Ball. He needs to work on his shot, but isn't afraid to shoot from almost anywhere in the gym. He's a slightly taller and more athletic version of Jason Kidd, or as close as I've seen. This year's Naismith POY...

Yes!!! Why not go with 4, 5, or 6 pgs? 6 pgs at a time, I don't think anyone has EVER done that. Revolutionary.

Re: College Basketball: 2015-2016
I'm actually thinking Booker is our PG of the future. Why have someone else running the pick and roll when Booker can already get you 11 assists and 0 turnovers? Dude, that was one game . Hardly typical numbers for the kid. Seriously, Booker is a true SG, he's not a PG. He has a great bball iq and ...

A rich man's version of Valanciunas is probably a good expectation, or at least that should be the floor for him. Obviously he has a lot to improve on and become consistent at.

The Coyotes are looking for a new arena and would prefer that it be downtown. The Suns and the Coyotes are working together along with the city of Phoenix on putting together a proposal for a joint arena to replace AWA...er..US Airways Center...er...Talking Stick Arena. The biggest contention right ...

I'm with EDC on this, Knight has an uncanny ability to make others around him worse, while simultaneously sucking until he finds a hot streak for himself. He's very helpful in losing, but not so helpful in helping Len and Booker get better.

Re: Game Day: Suns (16-46) @ Grizzlies (37-24), Sun 3/6/16
Simmons will be fine, he looks passive on the court and still drops 20/12/5 every game. The concerns about him are just nit picking, trying to find flaws in an exceptionally talented player. Part of the problem is he went to LSU, put real NBA players around him that can shoot and score and he'd be ...

Simmons will be fine, although he's not a perfect prospect as he has his flaws, but I can't think of another draft eligible player that's better.

This move to the PF experiment is working nicely. Good to see him get more touches and situations to use his offensive versatility. I still think he's a true center, but this helps him going forward. The nice thing about having at least these 2 young building blocks in Len and Booker are that the to...

Not surprised. It will be a good wake up call for them, if they really do want to break the Bulls record.

I really think that McDo will be fine, once Sarver just lets him do his job. Almost everything that we see as a failure or misstep of McDo, has Sarver's meddling fingerprints all over it. Everyone is entitled to their own hunches, but I think Ryan has been more than complicit in the state of the fr...
