Ulis can get himself an open shot but can't make enough of them to be a threat -- it allows the defense to focus on his passing

even if true, stats are just a part of the picture, especially with a point guard
Canaan has more control and makes better decisions than James

This is going to be an utter blowout. No rest, high altitude, etc. They should be really careful not to let Booker injure himself again, or anybody else for that matter. I would say to play the 3rd string, but we already do. to be fair, the first couple of games we looked like the Washington Genera...

i'm ok with benching Josh for a game. he's got a lot to learn, other players have sat out whole games and it's a back to back anyway. the suns' are beginning to get a taste for winning and the crowd has been into it too lately if it wasn't for the schedule turning from soft to hard i'd say it might ...

Booker is cold. Cold blooded. I knew even when we were down four late that we were going to win this game. The Suns and especially Booker are becoming good at closing out games. Plus, we're just a better team than the Kings. Draft position be damned I'm enjoying watching the young guys win. I'd lik...

Once upon a time we tried a similar play for Cedric Ceballos at the end of a regular season game at Portland. The pass was a little too high and sailed just over Ceballos's reach. Barkley got to the errant pass, shot it and made it as time expired. I think that was the game KJ injured himself lifti...

Re: Game Day: Grizzlies (10 - 23) @ Suns (12 - 23), Tues 12/26/17

the distinction is
1. the inbounder can simply shoot for the basket
2. the receiver can goal-tend

big distinctions
the nba must make the inbound touching the rim before the player a violation

that out-of-bounds play will be problematic for the nba now, inbounding players will shoot for the basket and it will be good as long as a teammate touches it sure, defensive players can goal-tend it but it makes for an awkward situation that may cause some injuries they should immediately add a ru...

Warren with the 17-0-0-0-0-0 line. this is why i say Warren would not be a starter on a playoff contending team he's a 2 point specialist the same for Troy Daniels -- but a 3 point specialist they'd work well coming off the bench together Booker is impressing with his passing skills -- the best on ...

Josh Jackson has a 56.6% FT this season. Oof. I've noticed that he doesn't look at the hoop until starting his shooting motion on free throws. I'm no Chip Engelland, but that doesn't seem like a best practice for shooting free throws well. he also starts with one foot behind the other and moves it ...

Hey, I disagree with all of you worrying about the ping pong balls. We've got to compete with pride and beat bad teams. i'd prefer the wins come by upsetting better, playoff teams and we lose to lottery teams -- the best of both worlds -- boost confidence and ping pong balls How do you suggest we l...
