Re: 2016 NBA DRAFT
Oh, and I agree with Shel about the Suns just taking players and not building a team. What's the plan, guys? Chriss and Bender play 15 minutes each and don't develop much, then fire Watson when we don't make the playoffs? I still expect another trade or two before opening day,and one during the seas...

Re: 2016 NBA DRAFT
Dragan at 4: I like the kid. He has a good combination of size, bounce, and quickness. Seems to have a basketball mind and a passion to play. He can get his shot off against anybody. We will see if he can hit those shots under pressure, and if he can defend. We will see if his body holds up to NBA p...

Re: 2016 NBA DRAFT
I'm laughing at Ulis becasuse we love those Kentucky guys. But, to be honest, we really needed brains in this draft, and I think he does have brains. That's his rep, anyway.

Skal still on the board at 21. This draft is crazy with guys climbing and others dropping. Just shows the parity of talent across this draft.

Ellenson is slipping in the mocks, and that saddens me. I want the competition to take that guy and leave us Sabonis.

If McD needs to check in with us for last-minute advice, he may be in trouble. It doesn't bode well for the draft today.

Re: 2016 NBA DRAFT
I'm with 4life on this one. You can't bash a guy for picking the player you were hoping to get. Did he get the best player available (for the Suns) at his draft position? That's the only thing to judge the draft on. If you want to bash a guy for the draft, tell us which pick you hate and which guy y...

Re: Suns News: The Offseason (2016)
It's no surprise that we are shopping Bled and/or Knight. They move point guards every year. And it makes sense that Bledsoe will go. He probably has more value Than Knight, he's older, and he has been here 3 full years. That's the longest tenure for a suns PG since Nash. Even Dragic was only here f...

Rose is a trainwreck. What are the Knicks doing? Being the Knicks. The Knicks have always chased "superstars" that might not have been a good idea even at the time - Walt Bellamy Bob McAdoo Spencer Haywood Larry Johnson Amar'e Stoudemire Carmelo Anthony Derrick Rose Alan Houston Mar...

Re: Suns News: The Offseason (2016)
He wrote for the Daily News and was an "insider" before it was a thing to be and before the internet and social media. I always felt over the last 6-8 years tho that he was mostly off with just about everything and seemed out of touch. This seems about spot on tho. So, the plan is to win ...

LOL at Cap and Inf posting at the same time. I understand what you are getting at, Inf, but I just feel that there are a lot of god supporting pieces out there. You can pick them up once you have your stars. But getting all those good role players is a good way to win 45 or 50 games and never draft ...

Re: Poll: Who should the Suns take at #4?
Neither of those guys is going to blossom into a franchise player, but they are both young enough to need and expect playing time. They would be just good enough to keep us in the late lottery and away from most of the future HOF picks.

Re: Poll: Who should the Suns take at #4?
I just feel a project is more about refining skills and bodies, not teaching/turning a guard that got too big into a F/C. And I am generalizing a lot here, since I have never seen him play. That is just my philosophy on player development (and people for that matter). Focus on what you are naturall...
