Re: Game Day: Suns (33-25) vs Celtics (37-19), Tue 2/24
I'll repeat: Booker's and Brooks' absences are crucial, but overlooked is Goodwin's absence. He leads the team in steals and is the third best rebounder (at 6'-3"). His Defensive +/- and VORP also are among team leaders. His energy off the bench has been an important component of the team's success ...

This team has too many wingmen who can’t reliably create offense (Highsmith will be another). Mark having zero creation skills too makes it too easy to load up on Green, Grayson, and CG.
Bouyea has kind of stunk lately too.

Re: Game Day: Suns (33-25) vs Celtics (37-19), Tue 2/24
I think the Celtics went on a 50-10 run at some point. We actually were making a nice run in the 4th, got it down to 14, and then Ott put Green and Royce back in and killed any chance they had of coming back. I’m sorry but Royce is a solid spot up shooter but otherwise he stinks. Defense is h ...

Green picking up where Brooks left off and I mean that in the worst way possible.

Re: Are we Dunn here?
I thought he was great the first few weeks of the season. Then he tried to dunk on Gobert, got hurt, got hurt again, got Wally Pipped in the starting lineup and in the process lost his confidence. He also seems to be approaching getting his mojo back the wrong way - instead of trying to dunk he’s p ...

Re: Suns News: Week 18 (2/16 - 2/22)
I think I solved the tanking thing. Let me know where there are holes in this. This assumes the draft and lottery stay. 14 lottery teams. 4 best records among those teams have the worst odds at the #1 pick, flattened for all for 4. This stops teams from tanking out of the playoffs. For teams with ...

I do think there’s enough talent across the NBA to support expansion. The depth of quality players since the NBA went to 30 teams is so much better than it used to be.

Sacramento has failed because of horrific ownership and management, not market. The may lack the local corporate revenue that other markets have but that fan base has “overperformed,” IMO.

Still would have preferred Dieng or even Sochan, but this is a pretty good signing. Plays much bigger than Royce.

Re: Game Day: Thunder (41-13) @ Suns (32-22), Wed 2/11/26
I watch most games on League Pass where they don't cut away for commercials and just show the in-game entertainment and one big takeaway I have from this season is that the "MAKE. SOME. NOIIIIIISEEEEEE." guy at whatever the hell the arena is called these days is the absolute worst. Not to sound all ...

Dillon Brooks has been getting on my nerves. His game is ass, just like Draymond. Good for some funk, bad for pretty much everything else. Honeymoon phase is over. Shit for brains. Hogs the ball. Selfish low IQ loser continues to yap and get technicals. I don't care how petty the refs are. AFTER ...

Don't love the Book-Green-Royce-Brooks-Williams lineup. Not enough sandpaper in that one. Reminds me of last year's team. You need Gillespie, Goodwin or Dunn in there to do the dirty work.

Ott went back to the starters way to quickly in the 4th. Bench was rolling and starters were butt most of the game. What was the rush to get Royce back in there?

Brooks is shooting well, but his ISOs bog down the offense so much. It seems like we have 2 types of harcourt plays. Those with good ball and player movement that involve the other 4 players or “give Dillon the ball and get out of the way.”

Draymond is such a fucking bully. That hit on Livers was 100% intentional after they got into it a bit on the previous play. I hate that guy with a passion.
