Taco Fall would be a waste of the 32nd pick.

Eh, I don't think he is that much better than Daniels. I don't think he is productive enough.

Glad to see Meyers Leonard have a big game. I've always liked him and wish Portland would use him more.

Would anyone take Frank for #32?
I would still trade for him, but I am definitely not giving up a 1st rounder. I wouldn't give up #32 either. Honestly, I think the best the Knicks can hope for is a salary dump.

Re: 2019 NBA Draft Thread

I do. That is why I hope it is NOT a coincidence. I hope the front office was impressed by Brandon Clarke's improvement, did research into Gonzaga's development program, and found something special in the work of Fois.

Do you just take bpa at #6 and do some smart signings and possible deals that come along, hope for the best and just try again next year?
Yes.

Re: Around the League: The Off-season

Say AD is like - "I'll sign an extension to play with Booker and be in Phx longterm(ish).... I don't think you can start a convo with the Pels unless you're starting with Ayton and the #6 pick. I think NO getting a bigman back is key, which is why I don't think the C's offer is really all that grea...

Re: 2019 NBA Draft Thread

Honestly, if the Suns go point guard in this draft, I'd prefer for it to be in the late first round/early second with Tremont Waters. Really? I'd not have pegged you as a TW fan. Or is it just the talent for the range you could get him in? I'm thinking he's there at 32 and you'd have to pick betwee...

Re: 2019 NBA Draft Lottery

I just can't see it as Conley or bust. I think we'll be just fine if we stay in the draft, trade TJ and Josh, and go hunting in free agency. You have to remember that we got next to nothing from the 1 and 4 spots. It's not going to be hard to improve if you address both of those spots with solid, pr...

Re: 2019 NBA Draft Lottery

Brogdon would be my dream scenario. I’m not a big ball fan, but I wouldn’t mind taking a shot on him if it doesn’t cost a ton. I'm not ok sending 6 for Ball. I love Ball's talent, but you can't trust him. Between LaVar and the injuries, I just don't have the appetite to make a move for him. And ult...

Re: 2019 NBA Draft Lottery

I'm not ok sending 6 for Ball. I wonder if we throw dumb money at Brogdon if they'd take their pick back plus one of TJ/JJ for the right not to pay him. Like... I'd rather pay Brogdon $20M/yr and roll out Brogdon-Booker-Oubre-?-Ayton than pay Conley $33M and not have the 6. Then you could take Cam ...

Re: 2019 NBA Draft Lottery

I'd happily spend $30M on Conley for these next two years. He's got a game that will age nicely. He's a good defender. He can play on and off the ball. And I honestly think he can turn us into a borderline playoff team. That's worth the extra cost. I'd also give up #6 for him in a trade if that's w...

Re: 2019 NBA Draft Lottery

I would be extremely happy with our off season if we find a way to keep #6, sign Dedmond and Collison for 10M/year each for 3-4 years, and Oubre for 12/3. We would have to export TJ^2 and please don't trade Josh if you are taking a beating/giving up resources to do it. Could the Suns trade Warren t...

Re: 2019 NBA Draft Lottery

Thanks guys--I was just curious how Oubre would be sold on re-signing here only to come off the bench. And do we want to pay our 6th man 15M/year? That is what we think it will take to keep him, right? All that said, I agree that Dedmon would be a good target. Is he going to command more than 12M/3...

Re: 2019 NBA Draft Lottery

Jones is dumb if he has a shot at Conley and passes because of his age. If Sarver doesn't want to pay the contract, that's a different story. But Conley checks all the boxes. I think Conley helps this team more than Kyrie does. At the end of the day, though, it is all a matter of how much is Memphi...

Re: 2019 NBA Draft Thread

https://twitter.com/nbadraftwass/status/1129060337544773632?s=21 Could be true, but it's just kinda lazy speculation that the team who needs a PG would promise a PG. I think it's more likely that Klutch seeds this rumor to stir interest in their guy. Honestly, if the Suns go point guard in this dra...
