Re: Game Day: Suns (17-24) @ Celtics (27-13), Sat 1/18/20

I think Oubre would play better alongside other good offensive players. I don’t think microwave off the bench is his optimal roll. Its possible having him on the bench will free up scoring opportunities for other players (Johnson and Okobo)? The 3-man lineup of Oubre, Bridges, and Okobo has a net r...

DA with two great games since being put back into the starting lineup. If twice is coincidence and thrice is pattern, this is his “pattern” game. Yeah, my confidence in what he (and the team) is capable of goes up if he has a similar game tonight. Even if he doesnt have the same kind of game tonigh...

Re: Game Day: Suns (17-24) @ Celtics (27-13), Sat 1/18/20

Oubre seems like the kind of guy who takes a lot of pride in being a starter and moving him to a sixth man role, whether it improves his or the team efficiency or not, would be a difficult adjustment. Also consider that he hasn't been "paid" yet. He took a shorter, slightly higher annual salary dea...

"Rubio definitely having a hangover game."

Took a hard elbow from Anus Kanter trying to get a rebound (wait, did I misspell Kanter's first name?)

Ayton only has three 20/10 games this season. But they have all occurred in the last 3 games.
I really liked watching him in the 4th quarter. Really provides another valuable option to go to.

Super hot take: If this keeps up, have Oubre lead the bench unit (at least try it for a game)?

This would've been as ass whipping if Marcus Smart hadn't had a career night.
Or we had 1 reliable bench player
Jerome was -10 in 4 minutes. Carter was -22 in 17 minutes. Ouch.

Hayward, my goodness!
Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good.
Really, Im just grateful the refs didn't call goaltending on someone.

If that same play had happened to the Celtics, would it have been a clear path foul? I feel that should be the criteria for the ruling.
