Re: Suns trade Grayson Allen, Royce O'Neale for Miles Bridges

I mainly agree with this. We have made it harder for the two players we are most excited about to get minutes, in Maluach and Fleming. And Bridges, Brooks and Green are sort of variations on the same theme on offense - scorers but not really playmakers or pure shooters. While Brooks is doing his ...

Re: Suns News: 2026 Offseason Edition

How much of what Gregory said is what he truly believes, and how much of it is him being a good soldier? I don't think he's actually irrational. This is the team owner that we have, so ... let's work through the seven stages of grief together, friends. I want to say I've reached acceptance, but ...

Re: Suns News: 2026 Offseason Edition

Only saw Rankin’s description for why we were comfortable giving away an unprotected frp and it’s as dumb as you expect. Especially when he spent the first half of the press conference describing why this trade was such a hard decision in the first place.

What was the reason?

Re: Suns News: 2026 Offseason Edition

He’s saying the right things about accepting blame and trying to change which is a good first step. It is only the first step of very many to rehabilitate his image and by far the easiest.
Hopefully he can indeed become a changed and better man, not so much for the Suns but for those near to him in ...

Re: Suns News: 2026 Offseason Edition

I don’t hate Jalen Green but do think he just is what he is as a player - I can’t see a path to him getting significantly better in the areas we most need him to (playmaking and defense). His FG% last season is right on his career average and he has been remarkably consistent season by season ...

Re: Suns trade Grayson Allen, Royce O'Neale for Miles Bridges

I think it is perfectly reasonable for the Suns FO to be asked how they reconcile previous statements about valuing high character players against Bridges’ well documented off court issues. I would be interested in the answer even though it won’t change anything.

Re: Suns trade Grayson Allen, Royce O'Neale for Miles Bridges

Not much to add that others haven’t. From a purely basketball sense, this was an ok (not great) move but the unprotected pick is indefensible.
There are also opportunity costs wherever you look - what does this mean for Fleming’s playing time? What else could they have got for O’Neal, Grayson and ...

Re: SUNS DRAFT KOA PEAT

I’m struggling to figure out why this is a good pick. He’s an undersized forward who isn’t overly athletic and he can’t shoot. Can someone lend some feedback why this was a good pick?

I’m a little the same with what I’ve read about him - I don’t see it as someone you trade up to get (undersized ...

Re: Suns News: 2026 Postseason Edition

I like keeping Goodwin and Gillespie (on reasonable deals) but we need to find a new home for Green, who doesn’t work for this team from a salary or fit perspective.

I was just thinking how we don't have enough small guards. Excellent.
Goodwin is a small power forward in this team.

Re: 2026 Offseason

No thanks on Morant. If I am taking a risk on health, lack of shooting and baggage, I'd rather aim at F/C and find my PG elsewhere.

Agreed on Morant. Apart from everything else he’s just not a good 3 point shooter. As much as we’d like him to be, Book hasn’t proven to be either so I’m not sure ...

Re: 2026 Offseason

I think Gregory was just saying what you need to say in that situation, although I believe they have no intention of trading Book or Brooks. Gregory speculating about trading Green would only lessen his value.
Hard no on Morant for me - he is a poor three-point shooter and relies heavily on ...

Re: 2026 Offseason

I just think Williams is going to command more than what we should pay him given how much we are already paying players not to play for us. Goodwin is top priority for me and shouldn’t be too steep salary wise. Then Gillespie on the right deal, but I fear someone may offer him more than we could or ...

Re: 2026 Offseason

I’m more in the listen to offers for Book camp, not he needs to go. Given our draft situation there is no incentive to bottom out and I’m not sure a bunch of picks in the high 20s is worth moving Book for. It is definitely a tough situation for the FO.

Without delving into what we would get back, I ...

Re: 2026 Offseason

I would love to keep Booker and have him be part of the next successful Suns run. But we have to find a player that makes Book the second best on our team and I just can’t see how we do that, and then if we somehow do, still have enough left to build around it. Think the Suns need to at least listen ...

Would have been nice to grab one win against the Thunder but that should show everyone in the organisation the gap between us and the best, if there was any doubt before.

Re: Game Day (Playoffs Round 1, Game 3): Thunder (2-0) @ Suns (0-2), Sat 4/25/26

The chances of us making a real series of this aren’t great at all but are zero if we can’t win this one. Don’t think we can win with Brooks and Green taking 10 more shots each than Book - so gotta find a way to get more shots for him (book finding his 3-point shot would be handy as well). Then just ...
