Re: Suns News: The Offseason
I don't know that anyone ever said he was a great GM. But he's proven competent at the least. I really have no qualms.

Re: Summer League: Suns vs. T-Pups
Yea and I love that he's such a high percentage guy. He's not just jacking, he's aggresively getting to the basket and even if he misses, he's got such great instincts, he's able to get his own rebound and putback. He's shooting something like 60% in SL, after shooting 52% at NC State. Those #s are ...

Re: Suns News: The Offseason
Any word on if we put a bid in on Boozer? I'd definitely take him for a year and put him next to Plum. Apparently, the world will find out today at 5pm EST where Boozer is taking his talents.

Re: Suns News: The Offseason
We really needed Len to have a good, productive summer. Sucks that he's injured, sucks we went with Tolliver for 6mil instead of Davis for the minimum. Sucks that Shavlik Randolph is even in the NBA. The question is which, if any teams, fall off? I don't see too many teams in the West struggling. Yo...

Re: Around the League: July 2014
I've always liked Blair. Wish we could've gotten him. As much as I like our team and FO/coaching staff, I hate that we're approaching the frontcourt the same way as in the past.

Re: Around the League: July 2014
Is something up with him? Issues on/off the court? That just doesn't seem right. I know he's not an All-Star but still...

Re: Summer League: 76ers VS Suns
Thanks for posting. I saw the game last night but it's for others to watch. You just don't see guys like that in the league right now who know how to score without the ball. You think "scorer" and you envision a ball dominant slasher or volume shooter but Warren doesn't seem to be that. He...

Re: Suns News: The Offseason
I don't know if Frye being a holdover from previous eras/regimes played a part. Maybe it did, but I think his asking price played a part just as much. Let's be honest, as good a shooter as he is at 6-11, and as nice as his #s may be, he's a streak shooter and shouldn't be a starter. He's a super sub...

Re: Around the League: July 2014
I think Indy will get along fine without Lance. He's too much of a headcase for that team, and I think he wouldn't have been able to grow up there. This is probably for the best for all parties involved. I'm not so sure about that. Indy now needs to replace his defense, scoring and athleticism. He ...

Re: Summer League: 76ers VS Suns
With Tolliver's signing now, I think it's just a matter of time. The question is, and I said this when we acquired Marcus, how will it affect one if we need to trade/get rid of the other.

Re: Around the League: July 2014
It's almost the same money and he could've taken less years in Indy as well. I think he wanted out of Indy altogether. We'll see how they respond, but I think they're on the way down.

Re: SUNS 2014: Free Agency
So we signed Tolliver...Len is up in the air. I'd feel better about a legit backup so we don't have to go small all the time. I feel like we're back to where we were a few years ago where we had 1 center and a bunch of forwards. Even a guy like Stiemsma, who could probably be had cheap, would be a n...

Yea I think they'll both complement each other in that regard.
Archie's very exciting. He just needs to fix that shot.

Re: Around the League: July 2014
Nah this is the Charlotte Hornets, formerly Bobcats. They have a tough NYC backcourt now with Lance and Kemba. Not a bad roster, they just have to make the pieces fit. I don't know what Lance is thinking, but he essentially took the same money to go to Charlotte. Less even because it's a shorter dea...

Re: Suns sign Anthony Tolliver
Tolliver: “The Suns are an up tempo team, and when I was with Golden State I had a similar style. I’m able to produce at a high level and this style compares to that Golden State team. I can play the three as well, but my natural position is four, rebounding, hitting open shots. The Suns made it cle...

Re: Summer League: 76ers VS Suns
I think they're all different players. I didn't see too many games last year so I can't speak on Marcus' development, but when I've watched him play, I just kind of see a 6-9 forward out there who doesn't do anything exceptional. PJ...you know what you're getting. TJ is a different beast all togethe...

Interesting article on TJ Warren's summer league scoring and whether he can transfer it to the NBA.

Archie with a real nice spin on the break, couldn't get it to fall though. It's really fun watching him play. He's smooth.
