Exactly. They won't win anything (so to some, the philosophy is maybe why bother) but the East is still pretty wide open and a team with Bledsoe, Wade, Deng (assuming they get him) Bosh and McB would be good enough for the playoffs and maybe a 2nd round appearance.

Maybe the thinking is, hey, Hornacek made 2 PGs work, let's give him 3 and see what he can do. It's less about having two PGs and more about having versatile guards that complement each other. I don't think I'd put John Wall and Tony Parker together. I don't think I'd put Rondo and Shaun Livingston...

I think, overall, Len will be OK but won't be the impactful player Noel is. They're different players, and I think where Len can stand out is offensively.

4 years 32 isn't an overpay, and less than what he was supposedly commanding. I don't know what Washington was or wasn't offering but they're dumb to let him walk for that, unless he didn't really want to be there.

He's accepted that he's a role player now. When he was here and in Orlando, he still thought he should be the man. Going to Dallas was the best thing for him.

There's definitely something up with Toronto. Even the Vasquez deal seems like it's set up to move him down the road.
