Re: Isaiah Thomas to Suns in Sign and Trade
Bledsoe - 32min Dragic - 32min Thomas - 26min Green - 30min PJ Tucker - 28min Marcus Morris - 16min Markief Morris - 26min Plumlee - 28min Len - 22min That leaves no minutes for Ennis, Goodwin, or Warren but is probably a pretty good estimate of how minutes will be distributed. Len is an x factor, a...

Re: SUNS 2014: Free Agency
Supposedly he wants to be a starter or have a legit chance to start, which won't be the case now as is. Right now, he's a super 6th man. But yea, he could've talked to Miami or Milwaukee. Word is that our vision remains with Bledsoe and Dragic and Thomas off the bench to give us a dangerous backcour...

Re: SUNS 2014: Free Agency
We have to be in play for a SF or PF with maybe Bledsoe as bait. Maybe S+T Bledsoe for Monroe?

Re: SUNS 2014: Free Agency
We frontloaded the deal to discourage the kings from matching. Apparently we really wanted him? 7.2 first year salary. Something else has to be in the works. Leverage against Bledsoe if all the other teams use their capspace? Or maybe IThomas is an asset for the Wolves (backcourt partner with Rubio)...

Re: SUNS 2014: Free Agency
That's actually a good deal for him...what's the S+T tho...I guess we could absorb the deal and give them a TE? Is that possible?

Re: Around the League: July 2014
Also, really crazy that Bosh is getting that kind of money. Is he really worth that much to the Heat? What are they trying to salvage? Do they think he's a guy you build around and play through and win with? I've read they'll max out Wade as well, so with Bosh and Wade maxed out, they'll still have ...

Re: Around the League: July 2014
Ha! So Rockets traded Lin and Asik to make room for Bosh and Parsons except Bosh is staying in Miami. Still questionable whether they match Parsons but Morey's being put through the ringer it seems.

Re: SUNS 2014: Free Agency
The only thing I can imagine is that we're signing guys like Thomas and Deng because we're going to throw Bledsoe, the Morris Bros and Gerald Green for Love. We're covering ourselves and restocking the roster before we deplete so Love can step into a young, veteran-ish roster - Thomas, Goran, Deng, ...

From Ken Berger at CBSSports:
Really?League sources also say stars now align in post-decision world for Luol Deng to land in Phoenix. Several teams still in mix.

Re: LeBron Back to the Cavs
The letter is a nice gesture and all, but LeBron's an opportunist. He left his home to chase a title in Miami, got his 2 rings and is leaving them because the roster is finished. He's not going to Milwaukee or Philly because they have no talent. He's going "home" to Cleveland which has a t...

Re: Around the League: July 2014
Cleveland could be lining up Bennett and Wiggins to Minny for KLove. Notice, LeBron made no mention of those guys in his letter. Love said he's intrigued with Cleveland now.

Re: SUNS 2014: Free Agency
Nah I'm a big fan of Thomas. But he's a small, speedy guard who would play the same role, albeit a much bigger one, off the bench (assuming we keep Bledsoe).
KG is basically a better version of Bo Outlaw. LeBron is basically a better version of PJ Tucker

Re: SUNS 2014: Free Agency
I think we have the team option on Ish. I thought Ennis would be Ish's replacement but he's a different type of PG. Thomas is basically a better version of Ish. So we may be looking to upgrade there.

Re: PJ Tucker Agrees to Re-Sign
Seems like just a partial guarantee. So if his salary for the 3rd year is say, 6.3ish, 2.5 is guaranteed, 3.8 is not.

Re: PJ Tucker Re-Signs
So he hasn't signed just yet, but the agreement includes a non-guaranteed 3.8mil in the 3rd year.
