I think Book has it in him and would be leading a group built around him with Mikal and CamJ, Grayson Royce, Nurk and new guys like Oso, Dunn and Jalen Bridges even if we were in a bit of a rebuild. I don't think he has that ability to lead with Beal and KD on the roster.

Puts those teams between a rock and a hard place. Gives young players max contracts when they aren't worth it and teams can't offer less otherwise the player gets mad and feels offended.

He definitely showed out and looked like one of the best players in Vegas. Even so, I expect him to look really good in that setting given his experience and the overall level of play. No Dunn in this one so Bridges got the start. Different dynamic in the starting lineup having a knockdown shooter vs an athletic defender.
