Re: Who Do You Want as the Next Head Coach?
I think I would go for a guy like Kevin Ollie. He seems like he can demand the respect of our very young roster, but also be a coach that isn't so stubborn he couldn't grow and evolve into a really great coach.

I really liked the effort our guys gave last night, with the exception of Morris. That's just one of those games where Butler just turned it on and we couldn't match/stop him. The effort was definitely there, and I think if it's there like that all the time, we'll win alot of games. I thought ...

Re: Suns News: Week 2 11/2-11/8
I think Len will figure it out. I'm with Indy; I think our guards aren't looking for him and don't give it to him where/when he can be effective. Honestly, this falls on Hornacek too. I'm not saying Len has to shoot it everytime down the floor, but if we're in an offensive set, he needs to at least ...

I think Len and Booker need to see ALOT more minutes on the court. Lose by 30 with your promising young guys getting minutes is way better than losing by 30 with guys who really aren't part of the long-term solution.

Re: Suns Training Camp 2015
A more philosophical question is, do you keep the more talented PG or the PG that Booker fits best with? Not to say Booker is the end all be all, but if Bledsoe is better at penetrating and drawing in defenders, that may help open things up for Booker. Knight may be the better leader, shooter. It ...

Yeah, I think Portland only does something like that if we also give up 1st rounders, probably multiple ones.

Re: Around the League: The Offseason
If I'm the Suns, I jump on Bennett before he clears the waiver. All we would have to do is take over the contract, right? Why not? If he develops, great, we have his rights and don't have to outbid another team. If not, super cheap contract, no real hit. I haven't heard anything about him being a ...

Re: Suns News: The Offseason (2015)
I think those are great to have, but if the best play from your (arguably) best player is to hit a contested turn-around jumper, you have deep issues. Agreed, we rely on that bail out so much because we have deep issues. But if we need that bail out and don't have it, then the issues are even ...

Re: Suns News: The Offseason (2015)
The time to make that trade was before the draft, if it were even possible. People also scoffed when I mentioned a trade for DLee. Doesn't look so bad now huh. Minny might make sense for Bennett but they're probably inclined to keep Bennett at this point. I would really push hard to get Bennett. He ...

Re: Suns News: The Offseason (2015)
Definitely not the most terrible option, the Rich Paul thing is a turn-off, but I don't think Thompson is a bad player. Definitely not worth $80 million under the old CBA, but under the new? Who knows?

Re: Suns News: The Offseason (2015)
I think we can do ALOT better than Ilyasova. Unless Detroit wants to throw in an unprotected 1st next year, it's not even close to a deal we should do.

Re: Morris twins charged with felony assault
I think the Morris brothers were a big part of the locker room dysfunction last year and wouldn't be opposed to trading him. I don't know what kind of potential deals I would make, but I might see if the Timberwolves would be willing to part with Bennett and a first rounder? I'm probably in the ...

If we were to move Tucker & Markieff for an upgrade at PF & shift Weems to SF so we could get Booker real minutes I would be very happy where we are as a roster. Totally agreed, in fact, I wonder who could disagree with it. Not sure who could be afforded with this package, maybe even including a ...

There's not a whole lot I wouldn't trade for Cousins. Too bad we don't still have the Lakers pick. Our first this year, that pick, maybe Bledsoe for their #1 and Cousins? If things are really that bad over there, that's not a bad deal for either team.

Re: 2015 NBA Draft
Gotta admit, I'd like either Stanley Johnson or Rondae Hollis-Jefferson at 13. Such sentiment probably isn't the way to build a team, but I'd like it, and it's not like we'd be reaching. I like Jefferson, but I wouldn't be thrilled with Johnson. I just think he's overrated and there's a bunch of ...

And I'm really not saying I'm totally against trading Bled for the #4.... I was more surprised at how eager everyone seems to do it. Draft picks just bust so often..... I think if Bledsoe was a positive, vocal leader who performed to his ability night in and night out, I would be very hesitant ...

Re: NBA Playoffs: Finals
Thought this was interesting. Most Golden State Warriors fans probably have never heard of Nick U'Ren. As the special assistant to the head coach, U'Ren quietly stays behind the scenes doing whatever he can to make Warriors coach Steve Kerr look great. But after U'Ren suggested the drastic lineup ...
