Re: Around the League: July 2014

Time for something random. A nice slow clap to msn for giving me the 'latest' sports news. Some how this was still a sports headline today. MSN you suck! Truly one of the worst 'news sources'/media churn garbage sites ever

Usually it seemed to be get a great PF and partner him with a crap-ok C

Currently we only have the later.

As would I. Is there any noise about us actually chasing Monroe?

Re: Suns News: The Offseason

So what's the plan for our front court?

Are we still chasing Monroe, other options out there or is kieff getting a chance to shine?

And We at still need a 3rd string C

Given how thin we are at PF, can someone tell me how did Len and Plumlee look out there together?

I'm hoping Noel's decent start lights an even bigger fire under Len.

Re: Suns Summer League 2014

With the offseason free agent rumour frenzy there has been very little talk of how much a bonus Len and/or Archie stepping up would be. We saw so little of them last year so I am so very keen to see them get a opportunity this summer league. Them making strides would almost be like a handy free agen...

Agreed. Wierd offseason so far. We have have got stronger at the wings and backcourt but weaker at the already weak pf. Guess we just have to stay patient...or rush out and give Beasley a contract :D

Looks like kidd did the nets a big favour. From the article it seems they will get Hollins which would have made more sense from the get go

Re: Around the league: June 2014

Perhaps kid's actions are a smart move on his behalf. I mean can anyone see them getting past the 2nd round anyway? Kids name would always then be associated with this fiasco. But if we went to a team like the bucks the expectations are low so he can continue to build his coaching career. At the sam...

Re: Suns Summer League 2014

If you were Sim Bhullar why wouldn't you have got yourself a personal trainer a long time ago. Few guys that height can add that many pounds so that almost gives him an advantage. But he was even in bad shape in highschool then spent 2 years as a college athlete and doesn't look overly different! I ...

Re: Suns Summer League 2014

I think I'm most excited to see if Len shows he's ready to progress. No timid gentle giant crap or fumble fingers, if he's gonna be any good he's gotta dominate in SL to build that confidence. Archie/TJ/Ennis will be fine, they've all shown that instinct and confidence in college (or flashes last y...

Re: Suns News: The Offseason

Just can't let Bledsoe go for nothing since I see that as leading to a big step back. You can't just let valuable assets go for nothing. Essentially that would mean we gave up gortat Dudley and change for a late 1st rounder and some cap space. I'd be upset if all we did with that cap space was resig...

Re: Suns Summer League 2014

Hoping they give Len a lot of minutes and let him play through any errors both in the SL and pre season.
We couldn't really do this last year but now we have our chance. Looks like he has spent plenty of time in the weight room also

Re: Suns 2014: NBA Draft

Good night boys and girls. Tomorrow is the day you have been waiting for all year. That’s right it’s the NBA draft. If you’ve been good your GM will draft you a franchise changing young talent. If you’ve been bad, your GM will sell your draft picks for cash or trade them for an injury plagued vetera...

Re: Suns 2014: NBA Draft

Wasnt there supposed to be a draft game here? I'll have it up in the morning. Both my kids are sick. One with bronchitis. One with 103 fever right now (which is why I'm up at 3 a.m.) Sorry to hear that Carey. Saturday morning I have to get a 325am flight to the other side of the world economy class...

Re: Suns 2014: NBA Draft

Random observation: Looking back we haven't done too bad when we have tried to acquire or move up a pick. Mind you it was always late 1st or 2nd rounder (Barbosa, Dragic, Goodwin). Anyone I'm missing?

Re: Phoenix Suns 2014: Offseason Moves

According to this site, Miama seem to be targeting several of our players (there is a 2nd one about them targeting Bledsoe). Yes they are bs articles but the main question is, besides awfully late picks, what could they possibly trade on their roster?! And you know its the off season when articles k...

Re: Suns News: The Offseason

[ Image ] Keep on pumping that iron big fella. He looks like he's starting to fill out a little. Its always a worry if project bigs have the ability to gain a decent amount of muscle. But he has definitely added to his upper body on that pic. Good to see they have locked him away in the weights roo...
