Re: All Time Suns Team(Modern Game)

October 1968. George Wilson, Gary Gregor, Dick Snyder, Dick Van Arsdale and Gail Goodrich were starters. Wow, thanks. I'm aware of all of those names except George Wilson. I looked it up and the first three were one and done. As in that was their only year with the Suns. And Gail Goodrich only play...

Re: All Time Suns Team(Modern Game)

Tough to leave out Westphal, Davis and Dennis Johnson. Westy had a nice five-year run with the Suns. He also had better players around him, including Adams, Curtis Perry, Truck Robinson, Walter Davis, Don Buse and Ronnie Lee. Ditto with DJ, who would be on my all tough SOB Suns team. I was a bit ske...

Stoudemire Barkley Marion Booker KJ Notes: This is assuming each is in his physical prime. Forward tandem of Charles and Matrix presents many problems to opponents. I choose KJ over Nash as Kevin was better all-around player, i.e. he played defense. Nash had an edge as a facilitator, but with Booker...

Re: NBA Playoffs 2020

Paul Silas was traded for Charlie Scott, which was a fairly even trade. Scott posted some big numbers for the Suns. Majerle was traded for Hot Rod Williams, who was a solid rebounder and post defender for Cleveland. He was involved in a car accident I believe shortly before or after the trade, and h...

Re: NBA Playoffs 2020

"Who are your all-time "Suns shoulda kept him" guys?" Dennis Johnson is high on that list. Gail Goodrich. Although he never played for the Suns, Rajon Rondo was a draft pick that was traded (in a deal that eventually saw the Suns drafting Rudy Fernandez, who also then was traded. I'll acknowledge Jo...

Oh man. The Greek Freak on the Suns? Pinch me.
No pinches forthcoming. Keep dreaming for now. You’ll wake up eventually.
When it happens, let me know.
Still waiting for Kobe and T-Mac to collaborate in Phoenix (remember that rumor?)

Re: Suns News: Offseason

Cliff Robinson is one of seven Suns players to score 50 or more points in a game. Also was a solid, all-purpose defender. Cliff, Barkley, Chambers, Delk, Amare, Booker, Crawford? Correct. I'm kinda surprised Walter Davis never scored 50. Davis had a 45-point game in 86-87 for the Suns. More notable...

Nice forearm upper cut to the stones by Schroeder to Tucker.
Schroeder is tough, but he should be careful.
Tucker could rip Schroeder arm out of the socket and beat him senseless with it ...

Re: Suns News: Season Resumes

As many of you probably know, Westphal is my favorite Suns player, so this is tough to hear. Wishing the best to him and his family, he's always been a class guy. Westphal is one of the smartest players to ever play for the Suns. For such a smart player, he was really a disappointing coach. Well .....

Nice game by Cam Johnson. Also like what Payne has shown (whither Ty Jerome ...) Solid contribution by Saric.

Nice win, given the refs gave Doncic foul shots every time any Sun violated his six-foot personal distancing space ....
