Eleven TOs for the Suns in the fourth quarter.
Second unit of Dunn, Livers and Bouyea looked, well, awful. Bouyea looked hesitant and indecisive as a point.

Re: NBA News: Week 14 (1/19 - 1/25)
Watson was bad, but he was inexperienced as a head coach. He also had marginal talent to work with. Budenholzer had an impressive coaching resume, and an Arizona connection. With all that going for him, he instead appeared as a totally clueless, vapid, Dilbert-like character. His failure was an ...

I like the attitude Brooks has infused into the team, but, for the love of Jehovah, he's not a guy I trust in the fourth quarter.
He forces shots and makes bad decisions.

Re: Game Day: Suns (26-17) @ 76ers (23-18), Tues 1/20/25
Happy with the win. Great effort by the bench. Ball movement came to a slog in the fourth quarter, with Booker and Brooks the main culprits. I like what Brooks brings to the team, but he's not particularly dependable in crunch time. He forces way too many shots. Booker was getting trapped in double ...

Booker said "We've overdone it with keeping him out", referring to Jalen Green. Devin thinks he's ready. Hopefully he plays against Philly or Atlanta this week. I think we've given the FO/training staff (or whoever's responsible) a pass because we've been winning but if we really needed Green there ...

Suns left defensive intensity on the bus. Also getting out-rebounded.

Dunn and Fleming played together briefly and successfully as the team was running well.
Gillespie quiet in first half. Hope he gets untracked in the second.

Re: Around the NBA: Week 12 (1/5 - 1/11)
Rockets fans are hilarious. Beginning of the season they were invincible, now they're melting down over B2B losses to the Blazers. They're quick to blame everyone else (Ime and Jabari last night) but also are starting to cool a bit on KD I think. And for the first 2 months of the season they kept ...

I like Dunn's potential, but he's a deer in the headlights on offense.specialsauce wrote: ↑Wed Jan 07, 2026 8:14 pmRasheer Fleming should get all of Ryan Dunns minutes. He's a better player NOW.
Fleming has the size the Suns need in the lineup ... agree that he should get more run.

Big stat: Suns out-rebounded Thunder 49-29, 12-2 on offensive boards.
Also outshot Thunder from behind the arc, 40% v 31%
OKC only had two steals in the game.

DING, DING, DING.
It was indeed Westy and Mo.
Layton also played JC ball at Phoenix College, on a team that went deep into the JC nationals.
One of the teams they beat was Gardner-Webb College (later a four-year school) which had Artis Gilmore at center.

OK, here's some old Suns trivia.
These two guards both played with Phoenix, but at different times.
However, they formed an impressive college backcourt tandem in the early 1970s.
