Re: Diamondbacks start well in April

He's only played two games, but he acts like he belongs ... no fear. Made a nice play on a rocket hit off the announcement board to hold the Rockies' player to a single.

Re: Diamondbacks start well in April

I was shocked that Greinke was traded -- not by his loss, but more the fact that the Snakes got prospects in return as well as a good deal in getting rid of a majority of his contract. While the loss of Greinke's talent is palpable, Arizona picked up a solid innings-eater, middle of the rotation pitc...

It's fashionable to beat on the Suns like a piñata.
It's groupthink at its worst.
Who would say otherwise?

No love for Gortat at 5. In his almost three years as a Sun, average 13.3 ppg, 9.3 rbg and 1.5 blocks.

Goodrich really grew as a player during his time with Phoenix.
Once he got a chance to start, he made the most of it.

Re: Build Your All-Time Phoenix Suns Team With Only $15

Not an all-time great or anything, but I liked Rodney Rogers and think he would be a good fit in today's game. Rodney was a weapon. He could bomb from the outside. And his low center of gravity made him formidable in the paint. He use to give Shaq trouble in the post ... RR was about as easy to mov...

Other notables not making the cut: the Robinsons, Truck and Cliff.
Paul Silas, as mentioned earlier.

One could make an argument for Charlie Scott edging out Dragic for the final PG slot.

KJ, Raja Bell, Walt Davis, Chambers and Larry Nance. To hell with positions on the last two.
There is defense in the backcourt, a helluva lot of shooting and everybody can run.

38 wins.
You just had to best Laz, didn’t you? ;)
Mebbe. [emoji6]
Thanks, gang, but I'm really at 30-31.
The higher projection was premised on few injuries, a few career years (or major steps forward by Ayton and Bridges), and some bad chemistry within other Western Conference teams.

Re: Predict 2019-20 Suns # of wins

After off-season moves, Suns should advance from cesspool of the NBA to semi-competent mediocrity.

A good target is 30-31 wins. If a number of things break right, then it could be 36-37 wins. But that's a big "if."

Lecque just seems to have a sense for the game - its been against inferior competition and he's got a lot of work ahead, but he does make plays that show that he's got a good basketball IQ.
He's a good gamble. See how he evolves after a year or two in the developmental league.

Would love to see amare come back for one more year and play "udonis haslem" role on this team. I am just fine to not have Amare on this team. To be honest, I'd much rather give it to someone like Bender or Spalding. Agree. I dug Amare and was on hand for his epic 50-point game against Portland. Bu...

Re: Suns News: 2019 Off-Season

Suns have not had a decent passing 4/5 since Diaw.

Actually, the last several teams have been some of the worst passing teams in franchise history

Rubio and Saric should put some extra voltage in the offense.

Re: Around the League: The Off-season

The Rockets have inked the cadaver named Tyson Chandler to a one-year contract.
The ESPN article said "A 17-year veteran, Chandler was an effective defender and rebounder last season ..."
Uh, for whom?
