O'Neale, Ighodaro & Gillespie - vs. Toronto - 78 minutes, 4/15 FG, 11 points, 15 rebounds, 6 assists vs. Boston - 75 minutes, 5/17 FG, 13 points, 9 rebounds, 12 assists You have to get more out of your other three starters. Oso is a default starter. He's not going to get the team a bunch of points ...

Re: Game Day: Suns (39-28) @ Celtics (44-23), Mon 3/16/26

Great defensive rotations for the Suns when Highsmith and Goodwin were in at the same time. I realize he had 40, but Booker needs to play smarter on offense and find teammates -- Celtics were pressuring him and he made some mistakes. Not too disappointed in the loss. Boston looks solid with Tatum ...

Dunn - DNP-CD
Could have used Dunn's length on D against Ingram, or at least tried him there for a couple of minutes.
Ingram, at 6-8 with an Andean condor wingspan, was too much for O'Neale to handle.

Booker has been goddamn rough this quarter. Terrible. This one's on him. And Gillespie was non-existent tonight. Booker looked gassed, could understand why on back-to-back. Gillespie has been ineffective, so not understanding Ott's fondness for leaving him in. Ott has been a solid coach this year ...

Ott's decision to go small in the fourth really backfired and played into Toronto's success.
Suns needed length (Fleming!!) to help combat Barnes and Ingram.
Why Fleming is sitting on the bench down the stretch is inexplicable.

Fleming should play more in the second half, and at center. Poeltl wouldn't be able to keep up with him, and MavoAlphabits would have trouble, also.

The league changes how they call fouls to allow for more physicality, then when a guy give a clean hard foul, they review it and call it a flagrant. It's a joke.
It would be refreshing if the refs could at least attempt to be consistent ...

Booker, Green and O'Neale doing the heavy lifting on offense.
Suns need to find somebody to slow Nembhard, who looks All NBA tonight.

I've got two questions. First is weed still not legal in AZ? Second doesn't the league have rules against it's usage? And whether is is legal or not I agree you shouldn't be driving while blazed. Arizona is generally "weed friendly" for adults (21+) due to the legalization of recreational marijuana ...

"We still had a big problem with letting the Pels get easy shots. Seemed like they got to the paint a lot, especially Zion. They also got more open 3s than I would have liked." Brooks, Goodwin and Williams are three of the teams' better defenders. Their absence will be hard to overcome. At least ...

With this rate of injuries I wouldn’t be surprised if we see Huntley minutes or Fleming centre minutes 😞
Agree that Fleming might see a few minutes in the pivot.
He's played creditably the last several games.

Oso has been sneaky impactful this year, it's wild. I think it's time to let Mark Williams take a few games off to reset himself and let Man Man get some run. Iggy has the leading defensive box plus/minus on the team. DBPM is a basketball box score-based metric that estimates a basketball player’s c ...

I'll repeat: Booker's and Brooks' absences are crucial, but overlooked is Goodwin's absence. He leads the team in steals and is the third best rebounder (at 6'-3"). His Defensive +/- and VORP also are among team leaders. His energy off the bench has been an important component of the team's success.

Suns getting contributions from a number of players.
As for Williams, he may be a bit fatigued -- this is his 54th game. He played 44 last year, total.

Hope Pritchard remains cold for the Celtics.
