Re: Democratic primary watch

No ramble at all. Thanks for the first hand info!

I’m sure you can find plenty of Englanders who would find plenty to complain about in their health care but. if you had to choose between the NHS or the US, which one would you choose?

Re: Stormy Daniels

You are the first person I have ever seen who thought he would make a good President. I was happy he was sticking it to Trump being Stomy’s lawyer but, him deciding that that made him qualified to be President didn’t impress me. Republicans used him like they do AOC and try to make them the face of ...

Re: Democratic primary watch

Yep. Have an insurance claim on your house for something? Get a quote for the repair. The repair quote will always be doubled if it is going to an insurance claim.

And once he replaces all the inspector generals with pro Trump lackeys there will be no one to whistleblow to.

Re: Impeachment

We have a checks and balances system and Trump is eliminating so e of those checks and balances. The whistleblower went through the proper channels and reported to the inspector General. It was his job to report the whistleblower complaint to Congress. Trump was real pissed at that guy. Now Trump wa...

Re: Democratic primary watch

We always treat people who go to an ER without checking whether they can pay. If we're willing to do that, why not just cover them properly? I would bet that many would like to eliminate that requirement. I won’t name party’s. If we lived in a sane country we would be covering everyone because it’s...

Re: Democratic primary watch

The only option I see is if you keep the original Obamacare doctrine of every American must be covered by law. If you opt for private insurance you must prove you have it like when the cop pulls you over and asks for you proof of insurance. Make it part of your tax return. If you opt for Medicare fo...

Re: Impeachment

I watched Rachel Maddow’s show last night and she was sounding the already crumbling alarm bells and it was pretty scary.

Re: Democratic primary watch

He is in favor of Medicare for all but also allowing private insurance. I think that is the smart way to go. That is a major sticking point for many, especially Republicans. The UK has public healthcare 100% covered for life and they also have private insurance for those who want it. Pete is coveri...

Re: Democratic primary watch

I am kind of done with Biden too. He does seem to be losing it. And he has the Ukraine thing over his head. Whether it’s true or not, it looks bad. I don’t know about Sanders either. He is looking pretty old now too and he has that Socialism thing over his head. Still, he is only one point behind Pe...

I thought Okobo did great too. Rubio was in foul trouble and Okobo got extra minutes I think. I think he has been pretty good all season and has earned being Rubio’s BU. Carter has been up and down but he is a mini PJ Tucker with better ball handling skills. It wasn’t pretty but, at this point any w...

Re: Democratic primary watch

It's just amazing to me that the media picks up and picks apart every single blemish a Dem candidate has while Trump has done 10x worse and it just gets brushed off. Oh, Ukraine hurt Biden badly, fatally even. Before, he was Uncle Joe. Now he's just another corrupt elitist like Hillary because his ...

Re: RUSH Drummer Neil Peart Dies

He was real good at what he did. He wasn’t my favorite drummer of all time but, I enjoyed his playing. Rush was a three piece band that sounded like a much bigger band and wrote interesting music. I even played in a Rush tribute band a few times.

Re: Democratic primary watch

We don’t really know what hurt Biden. He was #1 before the Ukraine scandal. He dropped like a rock in the ocean right after that. Trump is the Republican nominee. That is written in stone. The Democrats had a crap load of candidates. They have to go through a whole different process than Trump to ge...

By fine I mean fine for a #1 pick. I see him improving every game. Doncic was known to be a well established pro before he was drafted. Ayton doesn’t have near his experience and is years behind him in that way. He has a lot of potential Doncic is already there. Potential = Takes some time. Ayton mi...

Re: Impeachment

I believe if they went that far, they would pay a price. The other half of America would not sit by and allow them to get away with it without mass protests of millions in the streets. Would the military support Trump and his martial law declaration? I know Republicans claim they have the military o...
