Re: So Long NAZ Suns

Sarver is probably hurting financially due to COVID. The real estate market may also drop later this year as people get evicted when the moratorium on evictions is lifted and the extended unemployment payments stop.

Re: Around the League: Coronavirus Break

Very good news that the players are not testing positive. The NBA has been a shining example of how to safely reopen and conduct a sports league in the time of COVID, and they should be commended for it.

Bridges is an awesome 3&D guy who can also drive and make plays. Next season he’ll probably start, since he’s such an ideal complement to RR+DB+DA, and gives us the luxury of bringing Oubre off the bench to give some creative punch to the second unit. Hopefully we can find a good starting PF in...

Re: NBA FA 2020 & Suns FA targets

Super interesting data. I notice that many highly paid veterans like Blake Griffin, Russell Westbrook, Kyrie Irving, Gordon Hayward, etc. make a ton of money for not much net positive impact on the court. At least we don't have a lot of guys like that on our roster.

What an idiot. It's a shame, too, because these guys have so many young followers who read their posts and look up to them.

Re: So Long NAZ Suns

Did the NAZ Suns yield any NBA prospects who actually got to the big league? I can't remember. Or did we just send guys down there from our roster for short stints to practice their skills and then call them back? We had Lecque down there, right? It will be hard to give him any chance to play minute...

Re: So Long NAZ Suns

Huh. So they basically were costing / losing too much money, and Sarver wanted out? Is that the way to think of it?

Am I the only one that gets reminded of early JJ when I see Mikal play like this? Loving what Im seeing from Cam Johnson too... guy has such a sweet stroke. I don't think of Joe Johnson when I watch Mikal. Joe was such an iso player, a dribbler, a scorer. Not sure who Mikal's comp is. All I really ...

Re: Impeachment

These stories come out all the time and nobody cares. The corruption and lawlessness of the Trump admin is just baked in at this point, and there is nobody left at the federal who is willing to hold them accountable.

I just turned on the game; didn't realize it was so early. Bridges has 20 points on 8/10 shooting at halftime. Not bad! Rubio and Cam Johnson also having a strong half statistically. Feel free to look at the start time on the game day posts. :P :-) I've got two young kids, so frankly it's a miracle...

We're up 97-81 now late in the 3rd. Great quarter so far. Part of it is due to us playing our starters longer than Toronto has played theirs, but still, impressive. Setting a winning tone in the restarted season so far.

13-3 run by the Suns, now up by 9. Good ball movement and finishing by Ayton and Booker.

Re: Game Day (C19 Scrimmage 3): Raptors (46-18) @ Suns (26-39) Tues 7/28/20

Okobo looks like the type of player who'll go to a better run organization like the Spurs or Heat and become a solid player. Then all the media types will come out with their stupid takes about how badly the Suns screwed it up while failing to admit they didn't even know who Okobo was 6 months prio...

Undersized scoring guards are a dime a dozen. I like Okobo somewhat but he's easily replaceable if he doesn't want to put in the effort to work on his game.

Didn't Kennard have injury problems? Any update on that?
