Getting Hibbert back is a bad move, no matter how you spin it. I'd do the Lakers deal. If you can get the restrictions removed, that would be pretty good. I'd also love to see if they could get the NO pick in another deal.

My guess is that he wants something that isn't going to be popular with fans of his and nba fans in general. He probably realizes this and is coming out all hard ass, to let people know that he is going to get what he wants and isn't going to get caught up in "doing what's right" for those...

I could see someone doing it, if they felt that was going to increase their chances on resigning him in the off-season, but I think it's a little farfetched and desperate if they aren't a contender. That being said, I hope the Lakers offer up the world for him.
