Re: Game Day - Summer League Edition: Grizzlies (2-2) @ Suns (1-3), Sat 7/15/23

Am I the only one who thought Quinton Crawford did a poor job coaching this team? I felt like he stayed with Olinde too long. Olinde just kept making bad plays on the defensive end. In the Jazz game, the team was making a come back and then Crawford subs in Olinde to make the inbound pass out of a t...

I'd much rather face prime Kobe than prime LeBron in the playoffs.
Now that is a wild take.

Jordan has been an awful talent evaluator in Charlotte…he’d have ruined the bulls if he was making decisions on the roster
I don't buy that. I think Jordan the Owner has made different decisions than Jordan the player would have.

Re: 2023 Suns General Offseason/PostSeason News Thread

Tate or Pritchard would be nice, but the bummer is, had we made these moves earlier, we could have had KJ Martin or Obi Toppin for 2 second rounders. Ugh, thanks for reminding me. Martin or Toppin would have been tremendous. And the best thing would have been that we would have had their bird right...

This Payne trade is a good example not to take everything the team/FO says as gospel.

They brought Lee in off the streets and he looked better than Payne last year.
Well first, Lee and Payne played two different roles. Secondly, Lee was basically a non-factor the second half of the season.

Re: 2023 Suns General Offseason/PostSeason News Thread

This is a terrible trade that will likely end up hurting us. Terrible trade is a stretch… I agree that "terrible" is going too far, but it is disappointing to see Payne wasted like this. I get Payne was inconsistent and had injury issues, but it seems silly to dump on him and then prop up...

Besides Jemison, I'm not seeing anything worthwhile in terms of potential 2-way contracts. I think the Suns would be better off looking at other teams' summer league squads and the G-League for 2-way candidates.

Re: Suns Trade For Beal!

As you state in another post, NO has McCollum, Alvarado, Graham, and DD who all factor in at the 1. Graham is gone and they've been playing Dyson Daniels next to one of their small point guards. And honestly, McCollum probably needs to be moved back to off the ball, like he was in Portland. If they...

He is very similar to Exum, but I think he is even better than Exum was when Exum was drafted.

It is hard to believe Exum is only 27. He just signed with the Mavs.

Re: Suns Trade For Beal!

New Orleans wants to win, desperately. They already have Dyson Daniels as a young player at the 1. I think they absolutely would trade a young player they never play for a player that has started at the point and contributed to multiple playoff victories. DD is not a PG nor has NO played him as one...

If the Suns really do want a 4th star, they need to pursue Zach LaVine, not Harden or PG-13. Harden is an epically horrendous idea. George has the right skillset to fit in with the other 3, he just can't stay healthy. Eww. What does LaVine give us that we don’t already have? He’d be the law of dimi...
