Re: Suns News: The Offseason
Hopefully Len can be an inside presence and stay out of foul trouble. This season will be huge for him. Let's see what he can do.

Re: Suns News: The Offseason
Post play and rebounding are still really lacking. AMEN !! That's my whole point about trying to pursue Boozer or Gasol (when they were available). Suns weakness last season was they gave up too many offensive rebounds which lead to second chance points. C'mon, Boozer for......$3.25 million ? Milwa...

Re: Suns News: The Offseason
Boozer wouldn't have done much good. .......& Tolliver now ? I don't think Boozer's offensive skill set ever fit in Chicago, even when Rose was healthy. He's good at the pick-n-roll game. He and Deron Williams ran that all the time in Utah. Dragic and Boozer couldn't have run that in Phoenix ? ...

Exactly !! Which is why I don't care what anyone says, Suns should have made a bid for Boozer or went after Pau Gasol.EDC wrote:Man if Len isn't able to handle steady minutes we are going to get destroyed on the boards. Tolliver is 6'8". I really hate getting out rebounded.

Re: Suns sign Anthony Tolliver
Not that high on the Tolliver signing. Suns need a guy that can rebound more so than shoot the 3-ball from outside.
So who is the starting PF now ? Markieff or Anthony Tolliver ?

You take that Randle, Hill, and 1st round pick for Bledsoe,.......then trade that to Minnesota for Kevin Love.

Re: Around the League: July 2014
I just look at if like this:
Who would you rather have as the starting PF ?
Markieff Morris, Anthony Toliver, or.........Carlos Boozer ?
I'd take Boozer. And to know Lakers got him for $3.25 million pissed me off.

Twolves dominated the boards.
Aside from that, TJ Warren.......26 points ?? He might be the steal of the draft.
Plumlee 10pts, 12rebs, & 3blks. Nice.

First, great to see posts from you again INFORMER.
Second, Suns need a banger inside. No more stretch 4's.

Personally, I'd take him. I'm not thinking about his time in Chicago, I'm more focused on his playing days in Utah. .....which are ancient history. ;) No thanks - next..... LOL ! He can play the pick-n-roll game, score with his back to the basket, and rebound. That's what I meant, Swing. Hell, he g...

Re: SUNS 2014: Free Agency
Suns need more than Markieff inside. They need a banger, someone to be physical inside. No more stretch 4's that shoot 3-pointers all day.
I really wanted Pau Gasol cause he's a true back-to-the-basket post player. I think he also could have been a good mentor to Alex Lin.

Don't know if it was posted earlier but Carlos Boozer was amnestied by Chicago Bulls today.

Would you want Carlos Boozer ?

Re: Channing Frye signs with Magic: 4 years, $32m
EXACTLY !!
He can't bump and bang with the other physical bigs at the PF position. He's a natural SF anyway.
The Morris twins can definitely replace what Channing brought to the table
