Re: Suns sign Frank Kaminsky

Kaminsky isn't too bad. I think this a good pick-up. Solid, though unspectacular backup.

Re: Around the League: The Off-season

I'm not sure if I like that trade for the Blazers. I felt like Leonard was starting to round into a nice player -- still inconsistent for sure, but starting to figure it out.

3/30 for Satoransky is a really good deal in my opinion.

Re: Around the League: The Off-season

If the Lakers get Leonard, and the Nets get Kyrie and KD, then the Suns might be the only team left that’s been mentioned as a DLo destination who can easily get to max space. Pacers, but I think D-Lo would pick us At that point though, wouldn't the smart move be to NOT offer a max contract? I just...

Re: Who to pick at 6

I really like Clarke; if we were to "reach" for him at 6, I wouldn't be really upset about it. I would be annoyed because I think the general media consensus is that he could be had later, and if we had to resort to picking him at 6 it might indicate that we weren't aggressive enough in t...

Re: Who to pick at 6

So who do we think the suns will take? Board is pretty split with about 25% each wanting (Culver, Clarke, Garland, or a trade) I honestly have no idea what we’re going to do, but if I had to guess, I feel like we end up with Coby White I’m still all about trading the pick. If we have a target on a ...

Re: Who to pick at 6

Aside from Hunter, all the other guys I really like (Clarke, NAW, Washington) all seem to be projected later in the first round. If I were management, I'd call up everyone with multiple first rounders this year and see if they would be interested in trading up. ATL definitely seems to be interested ...

Re: Suns News: 2019 Off-Season

My head says that Bridges, Warren and #6 for Jrue is fair, but my heart says that it's a bad idea. If only Josh Jackson had a sliver of value. I think with the number of attainable, reliable PGs out there, Bridges, Warren, and #6 is an overpay for Jrue at this point. If he was somehow the final pie...

Re: Who to pick at 6

With all the bad luck the Warriors had, I wonder if they might entertain trading Draymond. TJ Warren would be really good in their system I think. Maybe they might consider TJ, Jackson, and the #6? That can help rebuild their bench, add some guys on reasonable contracts, especially if they still gi...

My preference for right now is to move #6 to Atlanta for #10/#17.
This would be great, since I think there's a good chance Clarke will still be there at #10. I'd consider it a pretty successful offseason if we were to somehow end up drafting Clarke and trading for Dinwiddie.

Would you offer Durant a max contract if he opted out and nobody else did?
I would. I think he's in great shape, and I don't think I would classify his game as one that over-relies on athleticism. I think he'll return to being a top-5 player for at least a couple of years.

Re: Suns News: 2019 Off-Season

I don't know how to share it, and I'm not sure if it means anything, but Official Suns Facebook page posted a photo of Oubre's eye with a backdrop of a statue or something with "#Shhh" 2 hours ago. I assume it means that they're re-signing him? It would be a pretty odd post if they weren't...

Re: Who to pick at 6

I go back and forth between Hunter and Clarke. I like Clarke's offensive play better than Hunter; but I like Hunter's defensive play better than Clarke. So I picked Hunter today just because I think he and Bridges could be a really nice defensive duo. But I would be happy with either at 6.

Re: 2019 NBA Draft Thread

I really like Clarke. I wouldn't have a problem if we kept our pick at #6 and drafted him. Just watching Gonzaga games, looking more at highlights recently, I just think he would fit in really well here.

Re: Around the League: The Off-season

If I'm New Orleans, I think I try and make it work with AD until the deadline. It's not like his value is going to decrease or anything crazy just because the deadline is coming up; I just think AD would reconsider if the team was winning. Plus, I think it would be hard to walk away from the super m...

Re: 2019 NBA Draft Thread

I think with as shallow as this draft is perceived, Garland isn't going to be there at #6. I think it's possible the Knicks take him at #3 (especially if they're picking him for some other team), but there's no way he's falling past Cleveland at #5. I think he just kind of fits in perfect with Sext...
