Re: Ryan out as GM

Jackson is going to learn to play within himself and use his skills to be effective. Part of his development will include having a two man game with Ayton. The context of playing alongside Booker and Ayton should limit his poor shot selection and highlight his strengths vis only having 10-12 shots p...

I somehow expected this https://twitter.com/CHold/status/1050092663473459200 Either way I hope we build on Monday's performance (execution/effort) regardless of who Blazers are resting Lame about Dame and CJ. I got 100 level seats tonight. I’m stoked to check out Ayton and give my 4 year old his fi...

This was the first time Igor’s offense looked great and made sense. GS actually seemed to be trying for the most part in the first half. It was great seeing the team catch fire. Book is gonna be good in the offense for sure. I think Rozier would really work well in Igor’s offense similarly to how he...

Re: Ryan out as GM

Sarver likely only hires puppets to be his GM. That’s universally accepted across the league. I’m fine with hiring James Jones as a player friendly GM but something’s got to give with Sarver making us a laughing stock.

Re: Ryan out as GM

McDonough and Sarver probably had a disagreement regarding the point guard position. I'm sure Sarver wanted Ryan to trade the pick away unprotected and Ryan didn't want to attach him name to it, thus, the firing. I just hope we make a smart trade. If he trades away an unprotected pick, who would be...

Re: Suns Preseason News 2018

Preseason has only confirmed the pg need. I would love to see the offers McD has had. Every front office knows the Suns’ dire need for a pg. I’m not sure he can make a trade unless the suns give up first rounders.

We'd better get used to this until we get somebody who can create open shots for their teammates.
The hope is that Booker can dramatically open things up for his teammates. We still desperately need a PG though.

McD needs to be working them Phones right now to get the team a pg.

I just think if McD acts now he can buy a PG who makes this team competitive. The west is due for a big shake up in the power rankings and the suns have a chance to win as an underdog.

Re: Around the League: 2018 Offseason

Stevens had a huge role for Rozier. I’d add however that he can do 3 things in Igor’s system very well - drive to the cup, move the ball, and hit from deep. Igor’s a system guy, he doesn’t need someone to pound the ball.

Re: Around the League: 2018 Offseason

I think Rozier is currently overrated. I need to see him be more consistent and develop his game more to be ok with giving him $15M/year. We already went down this road once with Bledsoe, and so many people are chomping at the bit to do it again. I dont get it. The Phoenix Suns have to overpay and ...

Re: Game Day (Preseason): Breakers (0-0) @ Suns (0-1), Wed 10/03/18

Harrison is not a starting point guard. He’s hardly a point guard. Please trade for Beverley. Give up a future first rounder. It’ll pay dividends to have a proven player handle the ball. Okobo will be a starter in a year or two. But he needs to learn from someone first. It’s painful to watch Melton ...

I’m not sure I want Jeff Teague. Would we do better to sign a PG next offseason? Terrry Rozier and Kemba would be big signings.

Re: Suns Training Camp 2018

At this point I don’t see chandler playing much at all even off the bench. Bender, warren, Jackson, Bridges and Okobo/Melton might be a solid bench unit too that presses the attack while Booker and Ariza sit. I think here might be creative ways to get Jackson and Warren 30mpg and Bridges 24. Those g...

Re: Phoenix Suns Media Day 2018

I agree with you both. I watched the film series on Igor’s five out offensive schemes. Someone’s going to bring up the ball and hand it off to booker to initiate the offense. Ayton will be crashing the boards on offense. It’s such a wing driven offense. Hopefully Ayton will learn to score in a varie...

Re: McDonough poll

I’m Lukewarm on McDonough, but we also have to acknowledge that a lot of his decisions are strongly influenced by either Sarver’s directive or his budget. Sarver is largely regarded as trash to work for around the league and is disliked by players. I have little angst with McD other than him chasin...

I hope Deandre is watching. And that this adds fuel to the fire. Players are paid in this league for their offense (on the whole). Players who care about winning develop defense. He’s got the phsyique but does he care about defense?

Re: Around the League: 2018 Offseason

A losing team stunts a player’s growth. Granted he could learn to extend his shot or play smarter on D. But on this team, he’s relegated to just trying to get buckets however he can on a team with no good primary ball handler, awful ball movement, and is easily manhandled by D. Oh and then add that ...
