Re: Around the NBA: Week 22 (3/18 - 3/24)

Rockets a dangerous matchup for anybody, right now. Confident and fearless.
Attack like a starving junkyard dog.

I don't know if Bol is actually 7'2" or if Wemby is really 7'5" because Bol looked markedly shorter than Wemby next to each other.
I did some Google research. Bol is 7-1 3/4 w'out shoes. Wemby is 7-3 1/2, so about two inches taller than BB.

Re: Game Day: Suns (41-29) @ Spurs (15-55), Sat 3/23/24

I want IT/Bol minutes A little trivia: Bol and Thomas represent the biggest height disparity ever on a Suns roster. Thomas, at an admitted 5-8, is the second-shortest Suns player ever. Greg Grant was 5-7. (Yuta Tabuse was variously listed at 5-9 and 5-8) Bol Bol is either the tallest Sun ever, or t...

I would like to see it. He comes back as a basketball player. Says he's done the religious thing and it didn't work out for him. He'd have the flowing hair a la Steve Nash. He'd have mad hops, sneaky dunks, and a dead-eye three. I think he could do wonders for us. I'd rather have Moses. He'd part d...

Thanks for that, LL. It's always nice to have the grand elder weigh in. :D Seriously, I really appreciate that take and its wisdom from your many years of Suns fandom back even before mine and Bobster's begins. I'm also grooming my grandson for Suns' fandom ... https://i.postimg.cc/342P5Q21/chacho-...

I'm disappointed in what I see, but I'm not abandoning ship. Let's see how the rest of the season plays out. Then the brain trust, such as it it, can re-evaluate. Vogel's reputation as a defensive coach was enhanced with the Lakers as he had players who could walk the talk. That includes LeBron, AD,...

Agree. Paul was the coach on the floor.
The team also lost a measure of court testosterone when Paul and Crowder left.

Thad Young needs some court time. Eubanks is such a crap shoot ... good play, then a bonehead play.

Re: Amare Stoudemire's Ring of Honor Ceremony

I had the pleasure of having eighth-row seats when Amare went off for 50 against the Trailblazers in January 2005. Portland ran Joe Przybilla, Zach Randolph, Travis Outlaw, Shareef Abdur-Rahim, and Darius Miles at Hell-Boy to no avail. He was 20-27 from the field, with 11 boards.

The '04-'10 run will just never be topped. Such wonderful, fun, awesome teams. Highlight of my Suns fandom. Other would say the same for 1970-72 or 1976-83 or 1988-95. It all depends on your age. I enjoyed the Hornacek-KJ-EJ-Chambers-Barkley-Majerle years and the Nash-Stoudemire-Marion-Barbosa year...
