Re: Game Day: Suns (33-23) @ Rockets (24-31), Friday 2/23/24

"... he had LBJ and a healthy AD then was fired for losing the locker room..."

...and given their inconsistency and often low level of effort, seems the same now to me...clock is ticking. So, assuming Vogel bites it, who do we snag as a replacement? Kevin Young?

Re: Game Day: Suns (33-23) @ Rockets (24-31), Friday 2/23/24

Vogel is gone, IMHO...that will happen before they throw in the towel. Vogel doesn't know what to do or how to motivate the team...at least it feels that way. I still believe a capable PG helps, so there's that and a coaching change as first options...

Are they playing down to this level maybe on purpose, even if its subconsciously? An effort to provoke management to fire Vogel?

Re: Game Day: Suns (33-22) @ Mavericks (32-23), Thurs 2/22/24

A week without a real game and the first one back is a loss at Dallas with Reggie Miller on the broadcast. Couldn't really have been any worse of an experience. I took a page out of your book and placed a small bet on the Mavericks to win to take the sting out of a loss. I also made 3 other small w...

Re: Game Day: Suns (33-22) @ Mavericks (32-23), Thurs 2/22/24

If you look at the stats, not one thing stands out. The numbers say they were simply outhustled. I think we need to boost the contribution of the bench as one strategy...I still think getting Killian Hayes and letting him run the second unit might be an interesting strategy. They need 'something' to...

Re: All Things Ayton

If we rate someone on work ethic...

Kobe would be a 12 out of 10 on a 10 point scale.

... where would you place DeAndre? And at what level is lack of heart or work ethic...fraud? I'd put DeAndre at a 3...4 at best. Getting $200M and giving a 3.5 in work effort? No bueno...

Re: All Things Ayton

Don't do basketball just because you're tall, if you don't love it. Gotta disagree. If you can make millions of dollars per year and retire at 30, bite the bullet and do it. Just cause they're suckers that will pay for height and potential over heart and passion doesn't make it right...that's a con...

Re: All Things Ayton

The truly sad and frustrating part is that... DA obviously has the potential...he has the skills, the physique that COULD have been something ground breaking in the league. The TRAGEDY of DeTragic Aint'in is he has a HEART that's 3 sizes too small! He has no fundamental love for the game, and thus n...
