Feels like the Suns lucked into a decent FA signing. If MJ hadn't saved them, and Bojan didn't sign with Utah, who would have been left? Maybe they would have pivoted to Corey Joseph or even bit the bullet to go after D'Angelo hard?

I wouldn't put much stock in that, as the Suns were by far the worst team in the west last year and the west is much better than the east. You can see the discrepancy in the difference between PHX and Chicago in strength of schedule.

Let's be honest; pretty much the only people who thought the Suns had a good offseason are Suns fans. Pretty much all the pundits reactions can be summed up as:

Best Case: Almost 50 wins
Worst Case: 23 wins
Median Case: 28 wins
