Re: 2015 NBA Draft

Wade, cousins, love, jrich, Rubio, Valuncinas, jeff green, mike miller, Felton, Devon Harris, exum, Len, Thomas Robinson, Sheldon williams, tskitishvili.

Those are the #5 picks since 2000. 2.5 franchise players, 3 good starters, 4 role players, 3 busts, and 2 yet to be determined.

Re: 2015 NBA Draft

Ugh. No big white stiffs from Europe. Will people ever learn? Tskitishvili, Cabarkapa, Milicic, Tsakalidis, Latvia's own BIEDRINS, I could go on. For every Nowitzki there are 10 stiff players that run around like legs without knees. I don't care about his touted shooting or length. He plays in LATV...

Re: 2015 NBA Draft

I like rhj better than Johnson as well, but actually don't think either is a great fit. With Tucker, Warren, and Goodwin, we already have enough non shooting and average shooting wings. I think lyles is pretty redundant with markieff on the roster as well. Looney intrigues me because he can add rebo...

Hmm, probably Stanley Johnson, but I wouldn't like the pick that much. Maybe Looney or Lyles

Re: Suns News: The Offseason (2015)

Towns, Portzingis, and Russell are definitely better prospects than Bledsoe. I don't really like okafor, but he'll be a more valuable asset than Bledsoe. And mudiay is basically a 6'5 bledsoe. If you can get #4 for Bledsoe, you do it. I'd love Portzingis or Russell.

He's not as athletic as Roy, but he's got a very similar skill set.

Re: 2015 NBA Draft

I think Kaminsky makes a lot of sense, he's gonna be an NBA player for a long time and he fills a need. I Just think we need the game changer type. Our team is full of nice players, but no great ones. I'd absolutely love to move up (I think Towns, Russell, and Portzingis are gonna be special) but at...

Re: 2015 NBA Draft

I'm thinking we'll end up picking between kaminsky, Lyles, Looney, and portis. Outside shot we go wing and take Booker or oubre. Kaminsky would fill the Frye role, he's a nice piece. I'm not sure what Lyles does that Markieff doesn't already do. Portis best quality is his rebounding which would be m...

Re: Around the League: Playoffs

We are gonna see lots of max contracts this offseason. Especially among the restricted group. 15 million a year is gonna be only a few million higher than mid level (expected to be 10-12) in 2017 with the 100 million + cap. Green, butler, Leonard, harris, monroe are all max guys. Wouldn't be totally...

Re: Game Day: Suns (31-29) @ Heat (25-33), Mon 3/2/15

Watching the replay, there was enough unnecessary contact that I think a flagrant foul was warranted. No way was that a flagrant 2. Refs maybe assuming intent due to the unique circumstances(markieff sending a message to dragic for ditching team and trashing organization). Which could be true, altho...

Re: Suns News: Week 18 2/23-3/1

The problem is with all of this is that it's just Brandon Knight. It's just Brandon Knight. He's not a special talent, hasn't proven great at anything, has never been efficient, and isn't a great fit at either guard position. He's a good player. But good players aren't that hard to come by. I liked...

Re: Suns News: Week 18 2/23-3/1

We may have been able to get knight in the summer, but we'd probably have to overpay and surrender an asset or two as well. Bucks weren't gonna lose him for nothing and ultimately if we called their bluff I think they would have matched the offer.

I think they had to pay that money anyways, they were beneath the salary floor. So they payed McGee instead of their current players splitting the money.

Re: Suns News: Week 18 2/23-3/1

If you look at the Warriors and Blazers, they both had to draft multiple stars using top-ten 1st round picks in successive years. Warriors drafted Curry, Klay, Barnes, etc. and Blazers drafted Lillard and Aldridge (well, draft-day trade, but same thing). This is why that Lakers pick is going to hau...

Re: College Basketball: 2014-15

I think he'd be pretty solidly in the 1st. He's a great athlete and great defender. He's got a little kawhi potential, although his shot needs more work than kawhi's did. He's got some ability to create and handles the ball decently. I think he's a mid first to late first kinda guy. I really like hi...

Re: Game Day: Suns (29-25) @ Twolves (11-42), Fri 2/20/15

DRPM is supposed to account for that. It's essentially saying GS defense improves by roughly 5 pts/100 possessions with Green on the court. If anything, the fact that David Lee usually replaces him is probably the biggest factor if his numbers are inflated. I haven't seen enough games to say how goo...
