Re: NBA Draft Prospects Discussion

The latest from Gambo... apparently Booker has grown since we drafted him. Gambo said some really interesting things today about the Suns. The first thing he said was that the Suns are absolutely open to trading the pick and would be willing to trade down to the 7, 8, 9, or 10 slot if they can get ...

Re: NBA Draft Prospects Discussion

Also, if Tyler Ulis is available at 28, I'd take him without hesitation. He's a smaller Chris Paul. Measured in at 5'10 with a 6'2 wingspan. Only 149 pounds though.

Re: NBA Draft Prospects Discussion

Chad Ford recently posted a new top 30. Players that seem to be climbing are Chriss, Sabonis, D. Murray, Bembry, all guys I like. Starting to look like we'd have to take Bembry at 13 if we want him. Guys dropping are Valentine and Luwawu. I think both would be major steals at 28. http://espn.go.com/...

He's also a significantly better athlete than Dudley.

Re: NBA Draft Prospects Discussion

I like Dejounte, but I wouldn't take him at 13 and I don't think he lasts to 28. I too would be a bit worried he's just another Archie. However he did put up better numbers as a freshman than Archie did. And that athleticism and size is intriguing.

Domantas Sabonis. Petr Cornelie. Denzel Valentine. Buddy Hield. Brice Johnson. Ante Zizic. Timothe Luwawu. DeAndre Bembry. Kay Felder. Joel Bolomboy. I like a lot of these guys, I'm interested in your take on Petr Cornelie, I'd never even heard of him until I read a write-up on I think BSOTS. He se...

Re: NBA Finals discussion

I'd love to try to pry Love away from the Cavs. It's a bit much to scapegoat him, though, when the guy got a concussion in the first half. I keep wondering if they'll try to trade Kyrie for a more veteran PG like Chris Paul? I don't think they'd want Chandler. They have enough big men that they alr...

Re: NBA Draft Prospects Discussion

What is the argument for Bender over Sabonis? Why do people like the one so much more than the other? Is it outside shooting? Athleticism? "potential"? I like sabonis at 13 better than bender at 4. Bender profiles as a combo forward, he's more mobile, handles the ball better and shoots be...

My Picks, in order of availability #4 - Jamal Murray, Dragan Bender, Buddy Hield # 13 - Domantas Sabonis, Brice Johnson, Deyonta Davis #28 - Timothe Luwawu, Thon Maker, Dejounte Murray I like your picks. Explain to me the appeal of Jamal Murray, he's a good shooter, but I don't see how he makes sen...

Re: NBA Draft Prospects Discussion

Can't see Chriss that high. Only positive seems to be that he jumps a lot, but is very limited skill wise, passive, little defense and is one of the worst defensive rebounders ever. Reeks of Hakeem Warrick. Pass in spades. Dunn-Hield-Murray are the prospects I am interested in with our pick, but th...

Re: NBA Draft Prospects Discussion

Are we going to end up hating Booker? His defense is just as bad. Neither are natural defenders, but I think most of their defensive problems are age and experience related. There is no reason both can't become passable defenders.

Re: NBA Western/Eastern Conference Finals Thread

There is 3 players I'm OK with us drafting, assuming Simmons and Ingram go in the top 3. Those 3 are Buddy Hield, Marqueese Chriss, and Dragan Bender. I'd absolutely love to package knight with 13 to move up and snag 2 of the 3.

Re: NBA Draft Prospects Discussion

I was just about to say I was leaning towards taking Chriss. I liked him at #13 for awhile but he moved to the 8-10 range. Now it looks like he's climbing further. Could be an Amare like player in the NBA. Special athlete with a good jump shot. Not sure what he's like defensively, other than he can ...

Re: NBA Draft Prospects Discussion

I think sixers would trade Okafor straight up for #4. They'd be guaranteed either Murray, Dunn or Hield, all better fits than Okafor.

Re: Suns News: The Offseason (2016)

Would you guys trade #4 for Jahlil Okafor? Can he work with Len? I think Len would need to become very consistent with that 15-18 foot shot. Would maybe make Skal at 13 intriguing, if he develops, he's the perfect fit alongside Okafor.

Re: Around the League: Playoffs

I actually think Barnes would look nice on the Suns, he's definitely better than Tucker or Warren. He plays D and can hit 3's and is good enough off the dribble that you can't hide a poor defender on him. He's not a #1 or #2 or probably even a #3 but he's solid and still young. I'd love to have him,...

Re: Around the League: Playoffs

No one is going to Max out Barnes. That would be a 4 year 100 million. He's gonna get overpaid, but probably more like 4/80
