Re: Phoenix Suns 2013-2014: Year In Review

I should also add that our 48-34 record ties us with Golden State for the modern day record for most wins without making the playoffs. This is since the 16 team format came to be. The Suns hold the all-time record with 49 wins in 71-72 when they just missed the playoffs in the old 8 team format.

Re: Phoenix Suns 2013-2014: Year In Review

Well, we did it. 48 wins yet missed the playoffs. We tied Toronto and Chicago (3rd and 4th in the Eastern Conference) for the 11th best record in the league.

Re: Phoenix Suns 2013-2014: Year In Review

It was cool that the Suns became one of the most fun teams to watch league wide and they were a League Pass darling. You can bet that next year the Suns will figure heavily into the nationwide TV schedule.

If we do resign the Morris', we should be getting a package deal discount. Those guys want to stay together so give us a discount to make it happen.

Markieff dropping dimes in that 4th quarter. Tremendous night for Goodwin. It will be interesting to see how he makes his way into the rotation next year. For a second I actually thought to myself: "Why are the Morris Twins still in? Do we really want to risk losing them for the..." Great...

Re: Suns News: Week of 4/14-4/20

I'm not quite sure how you say someone is executive of the yr and then say he isn't an asset...but it is what it is. He can be an asset, I just didn't list him as one of the main things I feel good about the Suns. And being EOTY has nothing to do with his draft. And as I said, the drafting ability ...

What do you, guys, think about wing crop from 2015. draft class? Stanley Johnson, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Kelly Oubre, Wayne Selden, Caris LeVert, Rashad Vaughn, Jabari Bird, Mario Hezonja... all sexy names but we shall see how they will look like next season. I love LeVert as a college player; as...

Yep, very proud of the guys. This team just never gives up. They fight until the bitter end. Once we get a low post presence, we'll be a tough team to contend with. Great year. I'm excited for our future.

Re: Around the League: Week of 4/14-4/20

I watched the end of a great game last night in Portland. Warriors were playing great and hit big shot after big shot. Unfortunately, the refs called two phantom fouls on Thompson to foul him out in OT and the Blazers hung on to win by two after an Igoudala three was a tad long and bounced off the b...

His injured ankle had a lot to do with it. Can't blame him for that. I instead applaud him for trying to play through it.
