Bradley Beal as a point guard is not a good idea
Well, they've painted themselves into a corner unless they want to move booker to SF

Nurk now with 28 rebounds

The turnovers (17) are killing them tonight though.

Re: Around the NBA: Week 19 (2/26 - 3/3)

Well, as usual, we don't know what was said, so it's hard to say whether he deserved a technical or not, but the whole thing might have been avoided if Brothers hadn't followed him over to the bench area. That certainly made the incident a lot more likely to happen.

Re: Game Day: Rockets (25-34) @ Suns (35-24), Sat 3/2/24

We can change the roster all we want. The team will still underachieve. I couldn't count how many timea we pass the ball to the 3 point line for someone to pump fake, dribble ibto the defense, pass out, pump fake, repeat, take a contested 2. Talent wise, we have a great roster. But we take all the ...

Re: Amare Stoudemire's Ring of Honor Ceremony

You'll have to forgive me, I have a lot of time in retiement and didn;t feel like transcribing German league standings this morning. SO I got my basketball research fix here instead!

At least I kept it related to Amar'e for the most part.

Re: Amare Stoudemire's Ring of Honor Ceremony

I found this somewhat interesting, although Career Win Shares rewards long careers (A.C. Green, Chandler, Young) and penalizes players with relatively short careers (Amar'e, Westphal, KJ). Also, some of these guys (Shaq, Carter, J. O'Neal) were only Suns long enough for a cup of coffee. Some interes...

Re: Amare Stoudemire's Ring of Honor Ceremony

D'Antoni is a strong possibility, and certainly deserving. Still, it takes a while to get all the Sarver stink scrubbed off the franchise and correct all the things he ignored. Do you know if Jerry has ever come out and said anything regarding Robert Sarver, or selling the team to him in the first ...

They weren't ready tonight at tipoff. Allen didn't give them squat and without Nurk in they don;t have any big bodies to clog the paint.

The really need to consentrate on roster construction this offseason.

Re: Amare Stoudemire's Ring of Honor Ceremony

If you look around the NBA I think retured numbers fall in four different catagories. First is the "MVP Type" - Players who played at the level where they were considered for the award or perhaps even won one - Suns: Charles Barkley, Steve Nash Then the "All-NBA Type" - They wer...

There's a lot of woulda, coulda, shoulda in Suns history - 1976 - They coulda won if Richie Fucking Powers had called a technical on Boston for excessive timeouts in game five of the Finals 1979 - They shoulda won instead of fumbling away game 7 of the Western Conference Finals 1981 - They shoulda ...
