Yeah, clearly you were right, KD.

Re: All Things Ayton
My thing is it shows the league still values non superstar centers. The market was still there for role playing bigs to get 20 million plus a year. Ayton is at 30 million plus and I’m not saying I’m ok with that now…but it makes me feel better that we can actually find a trade for him because someo...

Re: 2023 General Offseason/PostSeason League News
CP's presence on the team did marginalize Ayton. CP3 wants to bounce pass and no-look bullets to guys around the bucket. That isn't Ayton's strength. CP3 got a little better at finding Ayton for lobs, and Ayton got a little better at catching chest and bounce passes on the move, but ultimately it wa...

Re: Suns Trade For Beal!
Ya I’m starting to think Okogie or Goodwin might start. Starting Okogie is fine, but if you are going to start him, that makes KD the starter at the 4. Not crazy about that over an 82-game season. If you start Goodwin, that bumps Booker into the frontcourt. Again, not crazy about that either. I sti...

Re: Suns Trade For Beal!
We should learned from the D'Antoni era that the whole "they have to guard us too" isn't a championship strategy. Don't think this is what they are planning, this is just hyperbole. I didn't say that is what "they" are planning. That was specifically referring to TOO's response ...

Re: All Things Ayton
If it wasn't obvious, it was a rhetorical question. The kind of contract Ayton is getting is the new normal. Of course, there's going to be a lot of buyer's regret. But it's clear that Ayton's deal isn't some kind of outlier. I don't think that is accurate at all. People didn't think Ayton's contra...

Re: 2023 General Offseason/PostSeason League News
I don't blame Portland at all. If all it took for Dame to ask out is a bad offer to Jerami Grant, then I don't think he was very forthcoming in the meeting they had just a few days prior.

Re: Suns Trade For Beal!
I really think people hablve forgotten how good a healthy Beal is. Just a couple years removed from 30ppg. Always had better than average efficiency on all levels. He's such a massive upgrade from Paul offensively, and now he's the 3rd wheel, he should have his way here. All of that can be true and...

Re: All Things Ayton
One serious question. Would you rather pay Ayton what he is making or Sabonis 43.4mm per year for the next 5 years? I love these fake either/or scenarios. How about neither? And what you have to remember is context. Sacramento has been able to accomplish anything since the early 2000s. They are ove...

Re: All Things Ayton
IF Ayton buys in to Vogel and understands what a great situation he is in, he could have a career year. As opposed to the terrible situation he has been forced to play in these last few years? I get him and Monty did not have a good relationship, but it wasn't like it started that way from day one....

Re: All Things Ayton
Everyone said we couldn’t fill out the roster without getting rid of Ayton. I told you all we would be fine. We really don't know yet that the team is "fine". Like a lot of people on this message board, I'm intrigued with the possibilities of some of these potential 5th-9th guys that the ...

Re: All Things Ayton
I will say Ayton’s deal is looking less problematic after the deals given out this weekend. Poeltl and López both got 20 million+ I don't get this take. Milwaukee won a championship with Brook Lopez playing a very important role. Runner-up DPOY. The $24 mil a year salary is steep, but it's a 2-year...

Re: Suns sign Eric Gordon
The pessimistic outlook is that we’re still relying heavily on a certain someone to perform at a level that he only feels like performing at sporadically. I think we’ve got enough talent to offset that now, for the most part. But the West does go though Jokic now and that certain someone can’t let ...
