Re: 2018 NBA Playoffs, First Round

Watching it closely, it doesn't look like Oladipo hits it off the backboard first. Would have been clean to me. Huh? Watch it a little more closely then. Maybe it wasn't obvious in real-time but it is in slow mo. Looks like it was still in his hand when it supposedly hits the glass, but it wouldn't...

Re: 2018 NBA Playoffs, First Round

Watching Mitchell in the playoffs makes me really long for the day Booker plays his first playoff series with the Suns. I read this somewhere (maybe even here), but imagine how good Booker would be regarded league-wide if you switched the Utah and Phoenix rosters but kept Mitchell and Booker where ...

Re: 2018 NBA Draft Thread

I wish he added more muscle without sacrificing quickness or agility. I have yet to see that the Suns strength coach is capable of building that in the young guys. I feel like he's too light in the backside to build up that lower body weight.

Re: Roster Rebuild Game

This thread is tough for me to read. You guys are playing in fantasy land to some degree. Draft both Ayton and Bagley? (First of all, why? Second, why would any top-4 lotto team make that trade?) Trade mediocre pieces for Kawhi? Sign guys who aren't even FAs? Trade for Love & Leonard in 3 team ...

Re: Around the League: Week 26 4/11 - 4/17

Man, the Kings situation sucks for fans. I grew up near there, and there were a ton of Sacramento fans all around California. Folks who wanted good local hoops, but didn't want to root for the Lakers. It feel like this ownership group is getting ready to move the team. Didn't they just get a new ar...

Re: 2018 NBA Playoffs, First Round

Tonight's games are interesting. Celtics pull out a narrow victory at home in Game 5 over Bucks to go up 3-2. There were a few questionable calls down the stretch, but mostly Milwaukee just blew it. Right now Philly is up by around 10-11 points over Miami in the 4th quarter and looks like they'll a...

Re: Around the League: Week 26 4/11 - 4/17

Are the Suns the second worst franchise after Sacramento? Apparently they fired a bunch of people in the front office today including their PA who is beloved by the Sacramento community. https://twitter.com/sam_amick/status/988988375750164481 They're combining with the Suns, haven't you heard? Re: Suns Coach 2018-19

It's definitely both, all of he above, whatever. The franchise will never again be respected with him at the top. I seriously hope he's competitive enough to self reflect and turn this around. I'm a little concerned that he may have never been an athlete at anytime and this is a foreign concept to ...

I'm not opposed to Lamar Jackson. In fact I'm intrigued by the prospect, but it would probably be a trade back into the 1st to get jim, imo.

Re: Suns Coach 2018-19

It's not doom and gloom yet. I didn't have Fizdale in my top 3 or 4 anyway. I still think if the lottery finally falls in the Suns favor that things could turn around quickly.

Re: Roster Rebuild Game

How did you get rid of Knight, Chandler, and Dudley? What assets are you using to get Love and Leonard? It was fantasy and both GMs thought they were going to get a Oladipo type trade, but I really think some next level hypnosis, jedi mind tricks and possible strokes occurred. Was able to trade awa...

Re: Who's your top guy at 16 if we keep the pick.

For me, what we take at 16 depends totally on what we take with the first pick. If we end up with Young or Doncic, I want a big at 16 or trade up for a big like Carter. I might take a flyer on Mitchell Robinson depending on how his workouts go. 16 is a decent place to take that type of risk. Jontay...
