Re: Game Day - Playoff Edition - Game 3: Wolves (2-0) @ Suns (0-2), Fri 4/26/24

Suns are down by 22 after 3 quarters.

They scored 20 points last quarter.

Minnesota win probabilty - 99.8%

That sounds a little low.

Does this kind of remind you of how the Suns went from winning 11 or 12 straight against Dallas to not being able to do shit against them in the playoffs?

Re: The Chris Paul Appreciation Thread

I said it when he left and I'll say it again. Paul was the heart of that team. They don't have that kind of success without his leadership. They were almost automatic when they had a late lead, and now look at them. Obviously it was a situation where they knew his best days were behind him and if th...

That last foul by Booker just looks like he wanted out of the game.

The next two home games will really tell us how much quit there is in this team.
Like the last two years haven’t already?
I like to look at each year individually, especially if they have this much change from year-to-year

This year's team hasn't show us much, that's for sure.

Re: Game Day - Playoff Edition - Game 2: Suns (0-1) @ Wolves (1-0), Tues 4/23/24

It's time to trade Booker. Well, Beal isn't going anywhere unless he wants to, so our options are limited. We have two players what we could get multiple players for. Nurkic, O'Neale and Allen who won't bring back a lot and a bunch of minimum salaries. The next two home games will really tell us ho...

This team isn't going to get it done constructed like this.

ALL options should be considered in the offseason.

I think this was when we decided to go back to Booker and he got nothing…he’s been so bad today…worst I’ve seen from him in a long time
It's almost like he thought this was game 7.

The 6th seed and a matchup with the Timberwolves is about the best they could hope for - now, time to put up or shut up.

I have no problem with Beal being the Alpha male. Of the three of them he shows the most fire in his belly.

Re: The Suns Main Issues and How to Fix

I don't think having Crowder onbord would have made a lot of difference, but it was cetainly a sign that there was friction between Monty and some of the players (most notably Crowder and Ayton). When Williams didn't show up for the Ayton re-signing, it was another clear sign. That Finals team had e...

Re: The Suns Main Issues and How to Fix

Paul aged like a carton of milk - one day he was great, a couple of days later he wasn't. It didn't happen gradually.

And Paul getting old is what shut the window for this team - he was the one driving the bus. That 4th quarter invicibility they had disappeared along with him.

Barkley hates the Suns, they gotta stop asking him about them.
Well, I can't say I disagree with him.

If the Suns want him to shut up there's only one way to do it, and that's on the court.
